How often is the phrase “drinking the kool-aid” uttered every single day in America? Yet, no one gives a rat’s backside about that.

Ah yes, Jim Jones, the darling of
San Francisco limousine liberals in the ‘70s.
You could put it in San Francisco or the Bay Area and get a negative reaction.
The problem is there are people in both areas who had relatives and friends sucked into Jone's madness ~ and they died.
Otherwise it's kind of catchy ~ even if exceptionally offensive and with a high probability of triggering really bad memories in some people.
