"Whenever there's an economic hardship, [Republicans] take advantage of that to ram through some legislation that's going to roll back decades, if not a century, of social progress,"...
Damn right!

America touts itself as the land of the free, but the number one freedom that you and I have is the freedom to enter into a subservient role in the workplace. Once you exercise this freedom you've lost all control over what you do, what is produced, and how it is produced. And in the end, the product doesn't belong to you. The only way you can avoid bosses and jobs is if you don't care about making a living. Which leads to the second freedom: the freedom to starve. Tom Morello
I guess we could go back to the Haight-Ashbury days when everyone was on drugs and welfare. I mean, that system worked out so well... /SAR

That’s pretty damn ironic of Tom. Didn’t he get his showbiz career going as a freelancer? (Too lazy and too revolted to google it.)

“...who headed to my sweet home state of Illinois...They can stay as long as they want. Illinois is nice, man.”
Illinois is a political cesspool and its fall shall be greater than this uprising by a long shot.

Most of Illinois would be happy to see Chicago secede, which would turn it into a fairly ruddy state on the map.

Should of had Status Quo play, would have been appropriate.

Standing in front of American and Wisconsin flags, former Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello...
Who?
BTW, they spelled 'Moron' wrong...

Oh yeah, and I hope they do -- it will open the door to recall/replacement elections. Some speculate they are simply cowering at home in Wisconsin.
To: Libloather
Morello and Rage Against Intelligence are socialist scumbags.

'Famous Rockers'? I never heard of any of these mopes.
Now if it was, Chuck Berry, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Bruce Springsteen, or even .. Billy Joel, I'd say okay, 'Famous Rockers'. But these guys dopes???? I don't think so.
ps: Dear Bruce. Can you please lean to play another chord besides 'E', thank you.
pps: Patrick Tricker, please never ask me to listen to your collection of 'rock music'.
Clapton is god.

It’s ironic; “The Machine” that is being “Raged” against is the Union/Democrat political machine. They are the “power” to whom truth needs to be spoken. STOP SPENDING MY MONEY.

They are the new robber barons. The poor, ragged come-on just doesn’t work when it’s modern schoolteachers, for goodness’ sake, that are doing it. It looks ridiculous.
To: Condor51
Why doesn’t Mister Big Liberal Springsteen show up there, anyhow?
To: Condor51
If you haven't heard of “Rage Against the Machine” than you were not listening to new music in the 90’s. All 4 of their studio albums went platinum. Sure they are socialist scumbags without a doubt. In the case of Tom Morello he's not just a socialist scumbag he's also a talented socialist scumbag. Not that Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel aren't equally socialist. Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler are certainly more talented than Tom Morello.

*** Why doesnt Mister Big Liberal Springsteen show up there, anyhow? *** Ahhhh!!! Because mr big liberal Springsteen is a filthy capitalist pig.
One of his concert contracts was posted on the Net a few years back. He's more demanding and pampered than our 'queen', the Bigfoot Wookie.
Brucie gets a Private Jet to fly him and his mrs to any concert, On the House, and once there, basically won't unlock his guitar case for another $100,000(1) -- but at least he's 'famous'.
(1) I think he even gets paid extra to go to the bathroom

Must be nice, when he’s not thinking self destructive thoughts that is.
Got a certain small-time (for now) music pal who wrote a little hard rock ditty he called “I Need Money.” Seeing Brucey, now I understand a little better.
