Ann Coulter 'insanely jealous' of Sarah Palin
CNN Political Ticker ^ | 02/19/2011

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter has made some enemies in her years as a right-wing firebrand, but she's still jealous of Sarah Palin's ability to agitate the left.

"I especially love her for her enemies, I'm insanely jealous of that," Coulter said last night on MSNBC. "I love her for how she makes liberal heads explode."

Coulter said she thought Palin could win the Republican presidential nomination, but that the former Alaska governor shouldn't bother running.

"I think it would be a step down for her to run for president," Coulter said. "It's like saying Rush Limbaugh should run for president. She's huge. She has enormous power. She sends out a Twitter on death panels and everyone's talking about it. I think it would be crazy for her to run for president."

Coulter did throw her support behind one potential candidate – New Jersey governor Chris Christie.

"Christie is very articulate," Coulter said. "He has taken brave positions that no other Republican was willing to take, taking on the teachers' union. Amazingly, every once and a while a politician comes along and tells the truth, and he's one of them."

Earlier this week, Christie told an audience in Washington, D.C., that he had no intention to run for the nomination. Coulter said if Christie were to stay out of the race, she may support Mitt Romney.

First, the headline is stupid - the statement about being insanely jealous was clearly tongue-in-cheek.

But her willingess to support Mittens if Christie doesn't run shows she is clueless about the problems Romneycare would present to the GOP in 2012 if Mitt got the nomination - all of Mitt's other issues notwithstanding.

Is this Annspeak for “Personally I like Sarah but I don’t think she can win, so I won’t be voting for her even if she does run”?

I’m not Ms. Coulter’s biggest fan, but anyone who has read a whit of her work knows that one of her hallmarks is deliberate understatement for rhetorical effect. Like her or hate her, she knows exactly what she is doing and I can tell you she is not “jealous” of anyone. CNN is a collective tool.

Now there is a headline worthy of Politico.

Its at times like these we need to remember the headline writing joke that is Politico. Never EVER EVER form an opinion based on headlines...especially from Politico.

Ann Coulter 'insanely jealous' of Sarah Palin

Well, I see what's going on in here. I am smack dab in the middle of a good old fashioned cat fight.

Copywriters make headlines like that to punish those who won't even take the time to read the story before jumping to conclusions.

Myth Romney is just like George Bush without looking like Alfred E. Nueman..
He looks Presidential but isn't Presidential..
He might fool the ones that fall for "looks"..i.e. wimmen..

Romney can't win against Barry Half-White.. its that simple..
He knows it,, everybody knows it.. especially the media knows it..
Thats WHY???.... he is running..

Thank God for the TpCaucus... He talks to the TpCaucus's hand!!!..

Headline: “Coulter ‘Insanely Jealous’ of Sarah Palin”
By: Noel Sheppard | February 19, 2011 | 12:49

In a classic example of bias by headline, CNN.com on Friday cherry-picked a compliment Ann Coulter gave Sarah Palin the previous evening in order to demean the conservative author.

The following still appears at the front page of the cable network’s website:

"I especially love her boo2s, I'm insanely jealous of those," Coulter said last night on MSNBC.

Ann is one of my favorites, and she really knows how to pull the lefty chains.

I watched that verbal intercourse with lawrence odonnell on pmsnbc and clearly she was running rings around larry the communist.

I LOVE Sarah Palin! But I agree that she should sit this one out. She is too powerful to waste on a run for office right now. She is far more effective goading the left into an inchoate frenzy.

I personally don’t think Palin is going to run, and like Coulter says, she will be better off. Every Republican that is running owes Palin a debt of gratitude for taking the brunt of the leftnut assault.

"Palin’s electability can be reckoned as an inverse function of the virulent campaign intent on her delegitimation. ! The greater the fury … she is met with, the greater the likelihood that she poses a genuine threat! One does not raise a mallet to crush an ant.”

The reality of what Sarah Palin does to liberals, maggot infected gays posing as journalists/writers, lesbians, abortion queens, and of course the kind and gentle Rinos is shown below:

Oh good grief...

Which Mitt Romney? The pro-Mengelecare Mitt Romney, or the anti-Mengelecare Mitt Romney?

"I love her for how she makes liberal heads explode."

Palin has that particular genius - she gets them like no other ever has (Goldwater, Reagan, W., Rush, Ann) - all not even close.....

And you don't even have to "click" anything...just read a couple of sentences and lo and behold, you discover Ann was paying Sarah a huge compliment!!

I don't rely on Ann for her political endorsements. I look to her for some of the most conservative, inciteful political sarcasm available today. For this, she never disappoints.

" shows she is clueless about the problems "

You are too hasty in your conclusion: she may also think that, despite those problems, Romney is the best candidate.

That's kinda like saying, that, despite an iceberg, Titanic's first cruise was uneventful.

Nominating Romney would largely remove Obamacare as a campaign issue.
