Funny how a lone Illionois Tea Party member can find the Wisconsin Senators that CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, and ABC can’t/Don’t want to find, eh?

So ... why doesn't the GOP separate the collective bargaining provisions into a new bill, pass it through committee, and vote on it without the Dems present?

That seems to be the big sticking point, and it has nothing to do with appropriations. A quorum isn't needed to vote on a collective bargaining bill, is it?

Thanks. I’ve been jumping all over the place trying to keep up. Links to breaking stories and cross-posts can be posted here. It worked well with the Egypt mess.

Its time to stand up to and show the Unions that they are not going to control America any more.

I heard on Vicki McKenna’s show (a local WI conservative talk show) today that these derelict Senators could be charged with a Class 1 felony under WI law for not performing their key legislative duties (such as showing up for votes).

At what point are the Senators considered unfit to carry out their duties and relieved?

If someone was really sick or in surgery for weeks on end they would be booted out of the position no?

Thank you for starting this thread...needed a place to vent!

Watching these spoiled brat union leaches & rent-a-mob protesters in Wisconsin makes me so mad I could spit!

It's time for the productive segment of the population to put a stop to this crap! The country has been bled to near death by these parasites and we're running out of time to save the Republic. What are we waiting for?!

Light the torches and break out the pitchforks! LET'S ROLL!

I say keep them away for at least 60 days.
In the mean time,

1)pass every other single non-quorum legislation that can be passed.
2) start a recall petition for the closest 3 to 4 senators from the last election. You only need 25% of the total vote from last election to recall
3) Turn off their state cell phones, withhold their salaries, withhold their staff funding, cancel their per diem, etc
4) have session every single day and pass one more rule / law that you know will just piss them off.

Thank you sooo much- I was getting DIZZY from all the threads.

I am trying to understand how it’s legal (clearly it’s not ethical) for a president of the United States to send out his own political organization (Organizing for America) to stop a vote in a STATE legislature.

This is mindboggling:
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0211/49804.html

Also- for what it’s worth- a poll shows 64% of the country is against unions for public employees. And there’s info here also for the rally to support Gov. Walker tomorrow:

This is truly one of the most humorous situations I run across in my lifetime.
I’ve never seen such a bunch of cowards. I’ve seen equally greedy groups but not to the extent that they were willing to make total fools of themselves in this manner.
The unions and Democrats have no conception of leadership.
My question is how do they expect to pay for what the teachers want?
The whole world is laughing.
