"He had very tough things to say about the United States," said Ben-Eliezer, a member of the Labor Party who has held talks with Mubarak on numerous occasions while serving in various Israeli coalition governments.

"He gave me a lesson in democracy and said: 'We see the democracy the United States spearheaded in Iran and with Hamas, in Gaza, and that's the fate of the Middle East,'" Ben-Eliezer said.

"'They may be talking about democracy but they don't know what they're talking about and the result will be extremism and radical Islam,'" he quoted Mubarak as saying.

Meanwhile, Doug Schoen, a prominent former Israeli advisor to 4 prime mininsters, believes that the Muslim Brotherhood will eventually emerge on top in Egypt:

Obama not knowing what he is doing would be the better of the two bad choices -- the unfortunate thing is that he does know what he is doing. How come he didn't tell Ahmadinejad and the Mullahs in Iran to resign and allow democracy in Iran?

Obama doesn't know what he's doing

Well, hell... a blind man could see that.

Hmmm, then it would appear that virtually everyone in the US with IQ above that of a “standard progressive” agrees with Mubarek.

Obama is a conniving, sleazy, smarmy, narcissistic child.

On his best days.

Depends on the agenda.

If your agenda is to install Islamic-extremist regimes throughout the world, then he's succeeding spectacularly.

Barry is a Moslem, after all.

"...Obama is a conniving, sleazy, smarmy, narcissistic child..."

And those are his finer points.

Unfortunately I think Mubarak is wrong. Obama knows exactly what he’s doing and if he doesn’t, his puppetmaster does.

As someone said and even posted a cartoon -— Carter is pleased, since he will no longer be considered the worst president ever. Obama takes that spot, and he’s only been doing damage for two years.

Unfortunately, Obama DOES know what he’s doing. Mubarak just doesn’t comprehend it because its obviously NOT in the best interest of the United States. That a leader of the US doesn’t act in the best interests of the US must be mind-blowing for him.

... cuzz he is a part of the death to America crowd. Worse than that , the most powerful muslim in the world , who sits in our White House is consolidating his people. They have already declared that Israel prepare for war and after Israel, it is America. Remember his first speech in Cairo, then Indonesia where he referenced the Jews?

How the ratbastards allowed him onto the platform is beyond me. He aint a American by any stretch.... he is the total anti thesis of America and its values.

Ha ha haaaaaa!!!

Hose Nee MuBarack is just the latest in a string of Obama worshippers who have had the rug pulled out from under him.

Sorry, Hose Knee. But weren't you the one who invited him to your country in the first place to plant his seed of revolution into your young folk?

Obama knows what he doing. His neighbors and long time friends knew what they were doing when they went to Egypt last year and caused trouble. Ayres and wife Bernadine went with Soros funded Code Pink Ms Evans to begin the process of igniting the people of Egypt. The FBI and CIA had no clue? The demonstrations and attempt to bring lots of activists into Gaza was off the Obama radar? The Weather Underground is back. They have better funding and a man in the whitehouse.

Even before the fall of the Mubarak government, the Egyptian public was strongly aligned with fundamentalists and traditionalists, rather than modernizers who support a secular, pro-western tradition.
Put simply, Egyptians support Islam, its expanded role in the country's civic life, as well as Shariah.

Remember; Egypt is a 90% Muslim country. No fundamental Muslim is going to adopt our Infidel idea of democracy. And they shouldn't, if they follow Islam as written in the Koran and Hadiths.

Islam has its share of slackers and apostates and Cafeteria style members that are and will continue to be our useful idiots, and collaborators. They are Muslims in name only.(MINOs) They are more interested in worldly things than in doing what Allah wants done. (which is to subjugate , convert or kill all of us Infidels)

The question is, are there enough of these MINOS in Egypt to stop Sharia Law from being implemented. - tom

I’m constantly wondering why some prominent, American political figure hasn’t publicly called for obama’s resignation. While it wouldn’t lead to his ouster, it would at least start a public conversation about the rookie’s intentions/competence.

I think that can be put into the “list of unintended consequences”— Mubarak thought Obama will be a strong ally... little did he realize what Obama’s real agenda is.

"'They may be talking about democracy but they don't know what they're talking about and the result will be extremism and radical Islam,'" he quoted Mubarak as saying.

And the results would have been the same if Obama had stood rock solid behind Mubarak up to the end.
