Seeding Dark Clouds (Special report from Mike Evans of the JPT)

President Barack Obama should win another Nobel Peace Prize for orchestrating an Islamic revolution from Jimmy Carter’s Iranian play book of indecisiveness. He has humiliated a Muslim ally who has fought terrorism for decades and has supported U.S. policies in the Middle East.

So far, Hosni Mubarak has refused to flee Egypt, but left Cairo for his retreat in Sharm el-Sheikh. While he has apparently resigned as its leader, he above all men is haunted by the ghost of Persia. Egypt was the first nation to offer the Shah refuge when he fled Iran on January 16, 1979. It was the nation that provided his family with a burial plot for his earthly remains later that month.

Mubarak witnessed the double-crosses, lies, and humiliation inflicted by the Carter administration. Mubarak’s dark side has been intentionally ignored by past presidents because of the hawkish foreign policy which necessitated strategic allies, whether dictators or not. It worked perfectly for the U.S. during the days of Naziism and Communism.

Now, it appears, President Obama does not consider America at war against Islamo- Fascism, and there is no longer a need to undergird an ally. Instead, the Liberal Left White House and press are dumbing-down the American people into thinking this is simply a battle between democracy and tyranny.

The Muslim Brotherhood with sixty percent support from the Egyptian population believes that Egypt can become the center of jihad against the Western world. That belief system goes back to the days of Dr. al-Zawahiri, along with Sheikh Omar who was arrested for attempting to kill Anwar Sadat, which was believed permissible under Islamic law.

Hosni Mubarak picked up the reins of government after Sadat’s assassination and continued partnering in the region with the United States. Sheikh Rahman of the fanatical Islamist Muslim Brotherhood attempted to kill Mubarak also. The plan was to kill the Egyptian president during a trip to New York City. It was Rahman, the blind cleric, who incited Muslims to “kill Americans wherever you find them; destroy their embassies, sink their ships, shoot down their planes.”

It was in a Cairo hellhole that Sheikh Rahman and al-Zawahiri began to plot to bring the U.S. to its knees with the target being the World Trade Center. Islamo-Fascists from Egypt have been trained and hardened on the battlefields of Afghanistan. They have provided the training for the next generation of terrorists. One of the most well-known would be Mohammed Atta, leader of the nineteen hijackers responsible for the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

General Robert Huyser, deputy commander-in-chief U.S. Air Forces in Europe, was sent to Iran in January 1979 to attempt to get the support of the Iranian military. Huyser told me after the fall or Iran that President Carter had given him orders not to allow the military to support the Shah, to also keep the military from a coup, and get it to support the prime minister instead. For that, the U.S. would guarantee protection. Instead, those generals were brutally and mercilessly tortured and murdered.

President Valery Giscard d’Estaing of France told me that the overthrow of the Shah did not happen without the support of Jimmy Carter. It was on the French Republic Island of Guadeloupe in the Caribbean that he, West German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt, and British Prime Minister James Callaghan, met with Carter. During that meeting Carter told them that the U.S. had decided not to support the Shah’s regime.

According to d’Estaing Carter told them that the military was going to take power and would bring order to the country, as its leaders were pro-Western and most had been trained in the U.S. d’Estaing told me that he and the other leaders were shocked at the way Carter spoke; they knew at the end it would lead to the torture or killing of the Shah. He said Carter was not embarrassed at all: “He spoke very lightly of the man whom we had supported very strongly.

He [Carter] was a bastard of conscience, a moralist who treated with total lightness the fact of abandoning a man that we had supported together.” There is no doubt in my mind that President Obama is on the same course as Jimmy Carter. As one of Carter’s key advisors on the matter, James A. Ball declared in his top secret report, “We made the Shah what he has become. We nurtured his love for grandiose geopolitical schemes, and we supplied him with the hardware to indulge his fantasies.…his only chance to save his dynasty (if, indeed, that is still possible) and retain our support is for him to transfer his power to a government responsive to the people.”

Ball proposed a council of nobles and with the help of the state department prepared a list of possible members. The Empress Farah Pahlavi, widow of the Shah, told me that this all happened because of Carter’s obsession with human rights and his grave resentment of a Muslim leader who was greatly loved by the Republican Party. I was also told by Iranian cabinet ministers that America’s Foreign Assistance Act, Section 502B made it possible for the President of the United States to suspend security assistance to any country or government which engages in a consistent pattern of gross violation of internationally recognized human rights.

The Empress told me that Carter kept pressing her husband for freedom of the press, freedom of religion, to release the political prisoners, and that the Shah knew if the pressure continued, ultimately Iran would fall. She said the Shah feared the horror that would come upon the world.”

Those who live in genuine democracies loathe dictators and autocracies and harbor little sympathy for Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. This despite the fact that compared to the rest of the Muslim world, he is considered a progressive.

Hamas was legitimately created as a political party in the Palestinian Territory by a democratic election, as was Hezbollah in Lebanon. Democracy cannot be created overnight. The Nazi Party was enthusiastically elected by the majority who voted unanimously for Adolf Hitler to be president.

A poll was taken in Saudi Arabia after the Russians left Afghanistan on who they would want for a president in a democratic election. By a landslide Osama bin Laden won.

According to recent polls eighty percent of the Egyptian population endorsed stoning for adultery, death to apostates, and cutting off a limb of petty thieves. In addition a substantial minority admired al Qaeda and many believe the bombing of the Twin Towers was a CIA/Zionist plot engineered to discredit the Islamic world.

Ninety-five percent of the Egyptians polled expressed passionate animus against the Jews. Yes, President Obama is in bed with the Muslim Brotherhood just as Jimmy Carter was in bed with Khomeini before the overthrow of Iran. All is plausible deniability.

President Obama joyously welcomed the Muslim Brotherhood to attend his February 2009 speech in Cairo, and has maintained channels of communication with them.

When all is said and done in Egypt, ultimately, an Islamic Sunni caliphate will be born. All those who have given their lives fighting terror in the Iraq war and in Afghanistan will have died in vain in light of the damage that will eventually be done globally.

The American left and the quisling moderates of this country have elected a man with no conscience, no honor, no honesty and no sense of decency. That would include that weak-kneed fool, Colin Powell.

Obama has proved himself a traitor to one of our chief allies in the Middle East and he will prove himself a traitor to the rest of as well before he leaves office... if we still have a country on that day as I believe that we don't know a fraction of the damage that he is doing to America.
