IIRC, there was a previous ‘untouched’ tribe in the Amazon Rain Forest and another in the South Pacific islands a couple of decades ago. Later, however, both were revealed to have been staged.
How much university/government grant money is involved in this latest ‘untouched’ tribe study?

Why do they assume the tribe wants to stay in their current conditions like some sort of ‘zoo animal’ for these environmentalists? Maybe they would be happier in civilization where they have less to worry about disease, bad water, or jaguars eating them.
