Democrats try to wave off the birther controversy as a right-wing tempest in a teapot, but the president, his own staff and backers are the rainmakers who have stirred the recent storm. Even when conservative critics of this administration try to ignore the numerous conspiracy theories flying around Mr. Obama, Democrats like Mr. Matthews keep bringing the issues to the fore and thus make the scandals more bipartisan and mainstream. Hawaii Democrat Neil Abercrombie - a left-winger who made his political debut in 1970 as a longhaired Vietnam war protester - is another example. After being elected governor in November, Mr. Abercrombie, an Obama supporter, vowed to put the birther issue to rest “as quick as we can” because it could have implications for the 2012 presidential race. Now he’s backtracking and giving conflicting statements about what exists and what doesn’t. With friends like these, the president hardly needs enemies.

I've heard or read that when immigrants, largely from Italy, came through Ellis Island WithOut Papers (proper documentation), the notation next to their name was "WOP" and that became a nickname for the lot of them.
Obama is our first WOP president.

Conspiracy theories originate via the propensity of the human mind to recognize existing patterns. Sometimes misunderstood manifestations from random observation of anomaly become trapped within this mechanism and organize into a recognizable pattern that becomes understandable as that hidden thing.
What is he Hiding and Why?
I want to know what people, who from a professional standpoint know about his origins, are actually being threatened with and how many folks are possibly involved. I am willing to bet that Zippy has his own Gestapo to keep track of all these people. (Harvard, Columbia, the Hawaiian DOH folks, the State Dept who issued this man a passport at one point, the Illinois Driver’s License office, the Social Security office, the DBA’s of all these institutions, there are oodles and oodles of people who are being threatened if they say anything about the manipulation of the various databases. These people are being threatened with something more serious than mere job loss. Count on it.

Part of me agrees with you but then again the secrecy surrounding this man is being managed tightly, and continuously. Has to be. Zippy has a mafia of his own. This mafia consists of marginally criminal people who are willing to do whatever needs to be done and who are being paid very handsomely for their activities and their silence.
Making someone’s past disappear and making it stay that way takes time, money and effort. Zippy is indeed a nitwit but he is dangerous nitwit.

A case has been filed against Obama for fraudulently using someone else’s social security number and also 42 other social security cards, perhaps related to real estate deals with Tony Rezko or offshore contributions.
His registration for the draft has been shown to be fraudulent.
He also failed to list Barry Soetoro as a AKA on his lawyers license application, a felony.
A court is holding Czar Salazar in contempt for the moratorium on drilling.
He may be in contempt for continuing Obamacare.
It is all coming unwound for the Manchurian Candidate and those who helped his treasonous cause. Watch out for yourself. Many are going to prison for life.
I heard Mark Levin today say he wished Rubio and Jindal would reconsider running in 2012.
Is Jindal a NBC?
Maybe that’s one reason Levin won’t talk about the issue. It’s just a technicality to him.
When you consider what he did to “Joe the Plumber” simply for asking him a question which he ANSWERED - I shudder to think what they’d do to someone who had real info on his background
