Did the USAF ever release findings on the crash of the C-17 at Elmendorf last summer?

C-17’s seem to pull some mighty tight turns with 60 degree+ bank angles close to the deck! Overbank and stall?

Do you know what happened Dr. Blofeld?

The Air Force started investigating the crash in July of last year. IMHO,the report its about due to be released. The military takes some time especially in these type of investigations.

I understand the need for caution when posting articles from various print and other media sources, but excerpting a PRESS RELEASE?

That just strikes me as overcautious, to say the least.

Excellent info, though. Thanks for posting.

I like that YouTube video of the Dover C-5 crash with the actual voice recording on it and the computer re-creation of the instrument readings. “Guys, I’m concerned!” the pilot bellows as airspeed and altitude bled off to nothing. The tail struck first as the aircraft stalled and crashed short of the runway.

Thanks-—I marched my Jr. ROTC kid in and we discussed what we suspected happened 6 months ago. Don’t let this happen to you kid!

Most aerospace companies release info through a press release and so do the armed forces. Thanks for the kind remarks.
