You probably realize that the U.S. position HAS to look like it had nothing to do with this “transition.” It HAS to look like it’s neutral. If the U.S. was exercising good planning behind the scenes we would be seeing a long transitional period and the initial talking points that the transition must be to a representative govt protecting everyone's God given rights. All we see is confusion from the executive branch.
