To be honest if Obama sold US gas to Mexico way under market price, and then we had to buy it back because of a shortage (i.e. New Mexico) at a 12 billion profit to Mexico I wouldn’t be happy about it. Could be some lingering hard feelings.

It should be EASY to put out a gas pipeline fire, unlike with an oil well. Just shut the valve upstream from the rupture - it will be out in no time.
