I hope so.
I just got through snowblowing two feet of global warming from my driveway.
Spring can’t come soon enough for me.

Never trust a rodent.
On the other hand, a brutal early winter is often followed by an early spring and a hot summer. Something about average annual temperatures for a region generally stay about the same.

Since there is so much snow going on and Dallas airport got shut down yesterday, I bet my wife a nickel that either:
1) the superbowl will get re-scheduled OR
2) it will be the lowest attendance on record.

Bring it, groundhog, we’re currently buried under 12-18 inches of global warming here in Oklahoma.

Snow, sleet and freezing rain in NWNJ for the last two days. Any woodchuck that dares to raise his head above the snow within three hundred yards of me is gonna be red mist.
I'm not enjoying winter this year(could you tell?).
FUPP!

Hope Phil’s right.
But it don’t look good for the Northeast and the upper midwest.

In the South we have a different name for "groundhog".
We call it "sausage".

I know the icy roads and power shortages and freezing toes are no fun but I LOVE WINTER!!! (I read more people die in oppresive heat than from freezing to death). No bugs, no scortching sun or stifling high humidity...Enjoy it while it lasts! :)
To: massmike
Personally I could use a bit of global warming - especially here in NJ.

We have an above ground pool in our back yard. The walls are about 4 1/2 feet high. At this moment, it looks like an inground pool.

We got a blizzard here in Iowa yesterday. Had to dig out from a five foot snowdrift in front of my garage.
