RIP Budge. Thanks for your contributions to Free Republic. You were one of the best.

Sorry to hear that SL, you knew him fairly well as I recall.

I knew Budge through the massive shuttle disaster postings here at FR. He was in the forefront of cracking the cause (as best a keyboard commando can) of the shuttle’s break up. He had an RV that he mused using for a search vehicle to collect shuttle parts that remained missing along the flight path out west. RIP freeper friend.

Oh goodness! I’m so sad to hear this. Budge and I go way back to the late nineties when we first met to “Freep The Creep” (Bill Clinton)

Thank you for posting on Budge’s passing. I appreciate the fact that there are photos of Budge (that you’ve posted) within your profile.

Budge exemplified the meaning of courage. His physical situation would have daunted many but he worked around that and set higher standards for the rest of us. We had tremendous respect and appreciation for the way he was able to inspire and motivate others to join with him in serving this country. Rest in peace Budge.

I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing Budge, but I sure hate to lose a fine FReeper.
If I had my way, my neighborhood would be nothing but FReepers.
Prayers for his family.
