Though tolerance is not the highest virtue and hypocrisy is not the lowest sin, liberals have a dearth of the former while demanding it and an abundance of the latter while forbidding it.
Washington University's withdrawn speaking invitation to Bristol Palin is a textbook example both of liberal intolerance and hypocrisy.
The university invited Palin to share her views on abstinence during its "Student Sexual Responsibility Week" in February. But when it was disclosed that the school had offered Palin $20,000 to speak, open-minded liberal students objected and the university withdrew the invitation.
Let's look at some of the reasons the university offered for reneging on its invitation to Palin -- reasons that are much more diverse than the university's acceptable range of speaker choices.

Once again — a lefty’s idea of “free speech” means shouting other people down.
There is no such thing as “liberal tolerance”.
American colleges and universities are the most intolerant places in the country. Do they still provide “Free Speech Zones”? lol
Perhaps Bristol Palin should attend/graduate college before being invited to speak to college students.
Why? A person's ideas are only valid if they have attended college?
Yeah, that’s what the libs said.
Congratulations, you sound just like them.
If, however, you would take the time to actually read the article...this point is addressed and it made them (the libs) look pretty stupid.
I guess you don’t care how you look...
Thanks for self identifying.
Oh good! We get to hear from another tolerant liberal!
True, after all, college students are too educated to accidentally get pregnant outside of marriage and couldn’t possibly learn anything at all from someone without a college degree./s
Sort of leaves Rush out, doesn't it?
Leaves me out too dammit!
People who comment on articles should read the articles before commenting. That was one of the objections raised by the university and it is be discounted on its face. Should someone speaking to prisoners have to have been a prisoner? What better person to speak about abstinence than one who has faced the consequences of not practicing it?
Lol! What consequences?
Well I don’t know, She suffered through DWTS, she did work hard at that, and bought a big house, got a radio show gig. Oh, and wants 20 grand an hour to talk about the misery.
All the kids will be out getting preggers in order to suffer the same fate. LOL
