I’ve had liberals say to me “Bush is so stupid”. And I’m thinking “I think so, too, but probably not for the same reason.” He was either dumb as a rock or very naive about the muslim terrorists and the “women of cover”.
I doubt he really believed what he was saying. It’s all about the cashola and pals in high places.
Basically, he was lying on this stuff. Nobody, and I mean nobody, really thinks they are ‘peaceful’ except for the true internationlist idealogues on DU. Everyone else says it for the $ or some benefit.
