According to a news release from International Christian Concern (ICC) , Christians in the Ethiopian city of Besheno are being harassed and physically abused after Muslims posted notices on the doors of Christian homes warning them to convert, leave the city or face death.
Three Christian leaders were forced to flee while two Christians have been forced to convert to Islam, said the ICC report. In the Muslim majority city, the entire evangelical Christian community consists of about 30 believers.
The ICC says that Evangelist Kassa Awano remains in critical condition after Muslims attacked him on November 29, 2010. A few days after the attack, nearly 100 Muslims surrounded a vehicle carrying Christian leaders on their way to negotiate for peace with Muslim leaders. Two men, Tesema Hirego and Niggusie Denano, were seriously wounded, and the other leaders suffered minor injuries. On January 2, Muslims assaulted Temesgen Peteros with a knife after he testified about the attacks on these Christians in court.
Christians in Besheno have been targeted by Muslims for many years. On May 21, 2004, Muslims murdered the 7 year-old daughter of Evangelist Tesfaye Hobe. Muslims continuously attack Christians for listening to Christian songs and watching Christian videos.
“We ask for our constitutional right [to freedom of religion] to be respected. We want this inhumane act to stop. We are unable to live in our own city due to the inhumane acts,” one of the Christian leaders who fled the city told ICC.

At this point we still have the right to worship as we please- or not- the adversary is raging. One place to start is to look to our neighbor and see how/if we can treat him/her as Christ would, and would want us to so also.
Speak up when the occasion calls for it, where we see we can make a difference in people’s lives.

This, logically, is meaningless. If you wanted to make a logical connection you could say "Every Christian is a sinner, therefore Christianity is a religion of sinners. This would be true.
You could also say "All Muslims must believe in the Koran. The Koran requires murder or subjugation of non-Muslims. Therefore all Muslims believe in murder and subjugation of non-Muslims". This would also be true.
It would seem obvious that a religion based on murder and subjugation is not a "religion of peace".

Thank you for making my point. The original statements were meaningless. One cannot judge a religion based on the actions of its adherents, unless you consider Christianity violent because its adherents have killed in Christ’s name.
And note that your syllogism is logically valid, but not necessarily true. Many would take issue with the minor premise.* Therefore, that is the point of debate to be addressed.

The silence of Muslims in America
Snips: Two honor killing trials are underway. One in Arizona and one in New York. Where are American Muslim women protesting this ghastly gender apartheid? I not only pray for their safety but their salvation as well; they’re going to need it. In my humble opinion, the anti-Christ has already been here and gone, and he left his message to his followers clearly written in the Quran.
