It’s got to be somebody whose name is probably immediately identifiable as ROP, since they’re not even releasing his name.
OR, it could be they're waiting to at least have conversation with the perps family before they go public.............
And as a side note, the perp was black, it was a black neighborhood and the officers shot were black........NOT ROP...........

No, it appears to have been just a thug wanting to kill some cops. I read that he was also somehow involved in a double homicide case.
