“Bush, Palin, Rush OR Beck to blame??”

Remember Agnew? Nixon? I’m sure there were other Emmanuel Goldstein characters back then. Lt Calley, and who was his CO?

Cronkite has the mind of an amoeba.

And that’s on the good days.

He’s an Obama-hole now, and he was a bigger Obama-hole back when he was one of the few that the MSM permitted us to watch.

May an unclean yak back into his linen closet.

Busing (desegregation) “disturbances”.

Aboveground nuclear testing, Duck and Cover, Cold War, Cuban Missile Crisis (in which Kennedy did not know there were warheads on Cuba or that LeMay had armed and launched every B52 in flyable condition and was having them fly “racetrack” patterns centered on Moscow. Khrushchev knew both facts).

NPR’s Scott Simon longs for the peaceful days of Walter Cronkite

Ahhhhhhh, I long for the snow filled winters of northern Michigan when all I did was ski, ski,ski..and mom would cook wonderful dinners. However, I don't long for the same snow filled driveway that I was forced to shovel after every snowfall............considering the fact that I was merely a young teenager, that was child slavery and abuse!

WC was CBS news anchor from 1962 to 1981. Plenty of war, assassination and violence during that time. The million plus slaughtered in the killing fields of Cambodia in the 1970s was I would say noteworthy.

Viet Nam - started by Kennedy, exacerbated by Johnson, brought to the verge of victory by Westmoreland, lost by Cronkite, ended by Nixon.

Vietnam was lost when we agreed to let France keep Indochina after WWII.

It was very silent and peaceful in Cambodia while WC read his version of the news.

Watching that lying, socialist son of a bitch is what helped get us into the crappy situation we find ourselves. Cronkite was the grandaddy of lame stream media propagandists.
