Here’s a link to the article on azcentral.com. I’ve been feeling really weird about this guy from the moment I heard his story. I wonder if anyone has actually checked the facts of his account.

Fuller, who works as a signature collector for political initiatives, was about 10 to 15 feet away from Giffords, talking to her volunteers, when the shots erupted on Jan. 8. He said earlier this week he was hit by a bullet when he dove to the ground to play dead. He decided that because he didn't have any medical training to help others, he walked to his car and drove himself to the nearest hospital.

You know - that is weired: he was shot, decided he couldn't do anything to help others, and drove himself to the hospital ??? With a gun shot wound ?

Eric Fuller, 63, who was wounded in the knee a week ago in the shooting rampage that killed six and wounded 13.

He decided that because he didn't have any medical training to help others, he walked to his car and drove himself to the nearest hospital.

Things that make you go Hmmm.

The guy is wounded in the knee and he walks to his car and drives himself to the hospital.

Sure it could be a minor wound but if it is that minor that you can walk to your car I would think that normal human inclination would be to do what ever you could to help the others no matter what little medical skills you have.

Just these little facts make me believe this guy is scum and a poser.
