The guy is wounded in the knee and he walks to his car and drives himself to the hospital.
Sure it could be a minor wound but if it is that minor that you can walk to your car I would think that normal human inclination would be to do what ever you could to help the others no matter what little medical skills you have.
Just these little facts make me believe this guy is scum and a poser.

Or at least stay and give a police report. Wouldn't you ? It seems odd to leave a scene so quickly. You wouldn't know the extent of your injury- you'd wait around for an emt to check you out, then give a ststement to the police.
