How will activist judges not be able to overturn it, anyways? On any issue, just one activist judge is necessary to void the wishes of a majority of politicians and voters!

Not bad but they need to have lots of investigations making sure any negative effects are blamed on the repeal.

Well down Rep. Hunter. However, I think that the new House should introduce and pass legislation repealing the repeal of DADT. Then tell the POTUS, etc. that if they chose to allow open homosexuals in the military, that the House of Representatives WILL NOT pass legislation to ammend the UCMJ so this can be done.

Good for him.

And it makes sense, as well. The services are responsible for training and equipping, not the joint commander.

But nothing bad will happen if homosexuals are allowed to openly serve. I mean, why not?

National Center for Transgender Equality

Transgender people are denied the ability to join the armed forces as a result of various discriminatory policies. Not only is this unjust to individual transgender people who wish to serve their country through military service, it weakens our national defense by barring qualified people from duty. The following proposals will end this discrimination and strengthen the military by attracting and retaining qualified personnel.

* Repeal “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”. Congress should pass the Military Readiness Enhancement Act, which would repeal the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, Don’t Pursue” policy. Although this policy deals specifically with sexual orientation, privacy for transgender service members and even the ability to serve is also hampered by the ban.

Damn right they better do it.

They passed the repeal and have no clue how to bring it in.
The military does not want it, most vets and those serving do not want it and the survey was really flawed and yes I read the questions.
No where did it ask do you want to have openly serving homosexuals with you or do you want to repeal the policy.

It’ yet again the left playing politics with the military and giving the small % of people what they want.

Already one top commander in the navy has been forced to step down and those in the media should be disgusted with themselves how they went after him
