Does Sofia Vergara have a U.S. senator in her future?
Nick Loeb, the tall and handsome scion to New York's Loeb Rhoades banking fortune and boyfriend of the muy caliente "Modern Family" star, tells us he's considering running for the U.S. Senate from his home base of Florida next year.
And, he says, Vergara is all for it.
The environmental consultant, whose father, John L. Loeb Jr., was Ronald Reagan's ambassador to Denmark, cautions that he hasn't yet thrown his hat in the ring, but is "seriously considering" running. "I've been approached by a lot of friends who supported me before, who have been very encouraging," he says.
A Republican, Loeb, 35, ran for the Senate in Florida in 2009 but dropped out of the race when his wife, a Swedish photographer, walked out on their marriage. Loeb says he didn't think it "was fair to my constituency to be going through a divorce at that point," and paid back donors, out of his own pocket, close to $200,000 in campaign contributions.

Environmental consultant doesn’t sound particularly promising. Sounds like RINO territory.
I’m not sure how popular a Banker would be, running for office these days, but that’s up to the people of Florida.
Hey, don’t jump to conclusions.
That’s my line of work, although in an odd niche.
Actually, as with most “hard” subjects, really learning them leads one in a conservative direction, IMO.
It’s the dilettantes and amateurs who think motives and intentions are what’s important. People who actually work with this stuff have to deal with facts.

Is that Sofia Viagra?
The guy at my firm who does environmental law is one of the most conservative people I have ever met. I wouldn't necessarily draw any conclusions based on a characterization of his profession by a gossip columnist.
In any event, I just saw "Sofia Vergara", and thought it was a great excuse to post her picture.
Normally I don’t like people flashing their headlights at me, but in this case......
Most environmental consultants make their living helping companies comply with the regulations imposed on them.
It doesn’t necessarily mean we think the regulations are optimum.
I remember her from a Univision show. Know probably 20 words in Spanish, but it didn’t make me turn the channel. :^)

She’s dang near perfect - even with the enhancements. She was born with that can though. Mio Dio!
