Noob If you are attempting to defend Wikipedia on FR you MIGHT want to reconsider. It’s a George Soros propaganda vehicle and we don’t cotton to Soros supporting trolls.
You actually Wikipedia is a professional site? You have “faith” in it? Yes; it gets “cleaned up”. Soros minions do the cleaning.
That is the Blood Libel, the original use of the term.
If that sentence made it to a Wikipedia site, I am sure that it would be fixed. But since it is here on FR, it will remain forever.

If your are using Windows, no special software is required to do a screen capture.
To do a screen capture, first press the “Print Screen” key on your keyboard.
Then open “Paint” on your “Accessories” menu.
When “Paint” opens, select “Paste” under the “Edit” tab (or simultaneously press the “Ctrl” and “V” keys on your keyboard). The entire screen image will appear inside the Paint workframe. It can be edited by using the tools on the left hand side bar.
To save it, select “Save As” under the “File” tab.
Give it a file name when the “Save As” box opens and select the format the picture will be saved in. In selecting the format, keep in mind that only GIF and JPEG files can be posted to the Internet.
Seems complicated but, with a little practice, this process can be done very rapidly. There is no image appearing on the Internet that cannot be captured using this process.

If you go to the link and scroll down to the commentary section, you will find several entries equating the subsequent suffering of the Jews with the crowd's utterance of the blood libel. And such views among Christians has been the source of a lot of mischief (and much worse) toward Jews over the centuries.
However, it should be noted that as early as the 13th century A.D., the Catholic Church's doctrine on the blood libel had shifted. If I understand the catechism correctly, it has been (and still is) the Church's position for a very long time that the Jews (and everybody else involved in the Crucifixion) lacked the actual power to kill Christ. He instead choose death willingly as a blemishless and perfect sacrifice for the expiation of Humanity's sins. Consequently, it is a libel (a false accusation) to assign ultimate responsibility to the Jews for Christ's Crucifixion.
It is in this, more nuanced, sense that Sarah Palin called the attribution of responsibility for the Tucson shootings last Saturday to the Right Wing a “blood libel.”
