I know that we have an instance of blood libel against the Jews as early as Chaucer, in the late 14th century, but the Cathars were around a couple hundred years earlier.

Do we have an OED-type survey of the first use of the term (NOT from Wikipedia)? What would the equivalent be in Latin or another language, for uses in Europe?
