No, I don’t think that’s a tough call at all. On a thread yesterday I argued against that vociferously.

But they’re still going to protest at the other five funeral services! I don’t think the media should’ve negotiated with these evil people by agreeing to give them radio/tv time.
I think most, if not all, the Phelps’ spawn (I mean children) are attorneys as well.
I always imagined that was their game - to provoke and profit from litigation. It’s the explanation that makes the most sense to me. At least I can understand that motivation. It’s really hard to understand them otherwise.

IMHO, they shouldn’t have been allowed to protest in the first place.

Actually my dream is this: A big pickup with a tank of liquid manure and a pump that would shoot it about 50 feet. I’d start with their church lawn and then catch them at a protest. Just pull by slowly and let it rain, baby.
The fine or short jail term would be worth it.
