Krauthammer: Massacre, followed by libel
Wash Post ^ | 1/11/11 | Charles Krauthammer

Posted on 01/11/2011 5:15:16 PM PST by pissant

The charge: The Tucson massacre is a consequence of the "climate of hate" created by Sarah Palin, the Tea Party, Glenn Beck, Obamacare opponents and sundry other liberal betes noires.

The verdict: Rarely in American political discourse has there been a charge so reckless, so scurrilous and so unsupported by evidence.

As killers go, Jared Loughner is not reticent. Yet among all his writings, postings, videos and other ravings - and in all the testimony from all the people who knew him - there is not a single reference to any of these supposed accessories to murder.

Not only is there no evidence that Loughner was impelled to violence by any of those upon whom Paul Krugman, Keith Olbermann, the New York Times, the Tucson sheriff and other rabid partisans are fixated. There is no evidence that he was responding to anything, political or otherwise, outside of his own head.

Charles Krauthammer picks and choses when he’s going to be a conservative?

Desperate DIM/LIBs will do anything to gain their nefarious ends. They hate America and hate Americans. They are projecting their hatred in full bloom onto others. They know they are putz losers...it enrages them. No matter what the outcome of their conniving, they are (and will always be) putz losers. They know it. Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Congress has a 13% popularity rating. It is obvious they have, in their arrogant and unethical behavior, pissed off an entire nation. They are naive to believe their repulsive actions could not generate an angry response from the fringe that has no more patience.

The bogus charges have closer origin from the Communist Manifesto and Mein kamph, than the Bible and the Constitution the right professes.

As usual, Krauthammer hits the nail on the head = of liberalism as a mental disorder.

I don’t always agree with Charley, but when he’s good, he’s very, very good.

Great article. I’m glad that this event did not further separate conservatives from RINO’s. I’d rather be in the proverbial fox-hole with a RINO than a lib any day. CK nailed it this time, he is a gifted writer, no doubt. Good post pissant.

no evidence that he was responding to anything, political or otherwise, outside of his own head.

Yet, today our Sec'y of State spoke in a Muslim country, calling Loughner an "extremist" and equating his "extremism" with that of Islamic jihadis. Rush says he lives in Literalville, but the rest of us must live in Ass-backwardville. Remember when Major Hasan shot up Ft. Hood while yelling "Allah Akbar"? The libs and MSM warned us not to jump to conclusions, that he was just one sick puppy. Now we have a guy who truly IS a sicko who worships a skull behind his parents house and isn't part of any organized political movement, and we are told HE is an "extremist"! Never in a million years will Libs "get it", nor will the media ever realize how biased they really are.

“Charles Krauthammer picks and choses when he’s going to be a conservative?”

Krauthammer is an elitist Liberal, but it turns his stomach to associate with trash like Krugman. Notice that he was careful to act as apologist for his hero Obama:

“When Barack Obama said at a 2008 fundraiser in Philadelphia, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” he was hardly inciting violence.”

I think he WAS inciting violence, and that’s exactly what we got from his Black Panther and union thugs.

Gotta love the last line of the post:

The origins of Loughner's delusions are clear: mental illness. What are the origins of Krugman's?
