If FR dies, it goes away forever unless something changes. Is this acceptable to us?

FR is currently seriously underfunded. This is something we FReepers can do something about.

Comments? Suggestions?

Isn’t FR’s membership something around 300K?? If each person only sent $10 measly dollars, how much would that be??

MORE than enough to pay the bill to help keep conservative free speech online!! C’mon, y’all! You don’t even have to dig deep if EVERYONE coughs up a little bit! You can’t beat the price for the wonderful source you get in return day after day!!!!

>>2) Oracle

No Oracle? Good. I’d hate to see the FR streets cluttered up by Delphinian religious prostitutes.

I signed up for dollar-a-day.

Couldn’t live without FreeRepubic.

Appreciate what Jim Robinson does.

Appreciate all the defenders of true Christianity, who challenge the false claims of M-ism... and who must put up with Mormon advocates who pick fights, play the victim, then talk down FreeRepublic. God bless the defenders.

I appreciate the defenders of conservatism.

I pray God leads this site.

How nice to see the percentage jump up since just this morning!!!!

Time for the only member of the “Loose Change Club” to jump in and make her ‘club’ donation. The total since the last Freepathon was $42.86, but I did round it up to $60.

How this works is ——— at the end of each week I count how much loose change I have in my change purse. It usually runs to around $3+. Putting that amount aside, and adding up each week till the next Freepathon, it comes to a nice amount for a donation —— and all I have to give is about $3/week. Using my LazMath that is about 42 cents/day. For what I get out of Free Republic, that is a pittance!

But the thing is -—— it is an easy and painless way to save for a donation. I just wish I could have some other Freepers join in with me!!

Any takers??

Check in the mail for more then I have ever donated previously. Once my financial conditions become a bit more stable, I plan on more generous contributions. It is so easy for so many to just not contribute but use the system.
And I have been guilty of this fact.
If this old fart (me) can try to contribute who probably made less in the last four years I worked then some make in a half year or year range... well. Hopefully people will get the message you send.

I was going way back clearing out some old FReepmails that I had saved and found this one that you had posted a link to.

“On a serious note, in case you missed this a couple of months back, please see THIS as a reminder of why democrats must not gain control of the House or the Senate.

The linked posting is Indy Pendance’s.”

THIS is why we can’t let FR die.....

I whacked MY credit card the first day the latest drive was initiated. If EVERYONE would pony up, the only thing Jim would have to worry about would be the occasional technical glitch like the recent one. Wouldn’t THAT be nice?

Maybe if we had a couple million bucks at our disposal and a couple years to do it in we could build an iron-clad system. And maybe not.

Could always hit up the Koch Brothers, I suppose.

(Yes, I donated this quarter.)
