This document is circulating, purportedly showing Jared Loughner is a registered Republican.
There are two reasons why the document is faked, and one official proclamation that undermines it:
“Fake but accurate”...
When you deliberately disseminate forged documents that need to be refuted, you are engaging in obstruction of justice. The investigators need to sift through all this stuff and when you are trying to present forged documents as legitimate, you slow down the investigation. Therein lies the felony.
They’d have to be a better shot than Sarah which isn’t likely.

Creating a fake voter registration card is probably a fairly serious crime in AZ. Just sayin.

I’m am telling everyone, be they liberal, conservative, or Other... this guy was a generic loony tunes obsessed with grammar and soaked with classic paranoid schizophrenia. Ayn Rand or Mein Kampf had as much to do with his disease as Wizard of Oz or Alice in Wonderland. His brain chemicals were fizzing and popping. The finger pointing from left to right and right to left are stupid through and through. Anyone trying to make political hay out of this is going to look very very stupid.

the daily kos guy and keith olbermann are my 1st and only suspects.
I just put this in fireworks and adjusted the hue and it is obvious that this is a fake. The erase marks where the old name can still be seen. You can see from this screen capture that the original text on the website does not have artifacts, while Jared's information has what appears to be an eraser tool artifact behind it. In other words, someone pulled up another person's information, erased it, and put Jared's information over it.
Very good job.
And another point, would any Republican list “The Communist Manifesto” as a favorite book?
