Example of how stupid the media is. Way back in about '97, a woman in the Phoenix area doused herself and children with gasoline and set everyone ablaze. The children died. She did not. Days later, the media had connected her to a "cult". This "cult" was my neighbor's church. A very conservative CHristian group and had services in their house. They were quaint in that they were back to basics people and dressed in Western-style clothing. The ladies would wear skirts.

So, the local media was snooping around our neighborhood trying to find any dirt on the neighbors. THey found nothing they could report. No dirt. When they saw me, the reporter asked about my house, "Is this a coumpound?" This was a 2000 ft. Frank Lloyd Wright house built in the 1950s. "No. It's my HOUSE," was my response.

In the end, I found out the connection to the church they had made was that a friend of hers had brought her to a yard sale the church was having a few months earlier. That was it!
