Frustrated by what he sees as a never-ending campaign to undermine President Obama, Hawaii's new governor says he plans to use his post to counter conspiracy theorists who continue to claim the president was not born in the United States.
Neil Abercrombie, a Democrat who took office Dec. 6, has known Obama since the president was growing up in Hawaii. Abercrombie knew Obama's father, also named Barack, and mother, Stanley Ann Dunham.
That long-standing relationship is a major reason Abercrombie, 72, takes umbrage at the persistent effort by Obama's most ardent foes to assert he was born in Kenya, which, if true, would constitutionally bar him from holding the office of president.
"Now that I'm governor, I'm going to do something about that," Abercrombie vowed during an interview in his office. Abercrombie, who spent 19 years representing Hawaii's 1st District as one of the more liberal members of Congress, acknowledged he has not determined a specific remedy.
"What bothers me is that some people who should know better are trying to use this for political reasons," he said. "Maybe I'm the only one in the country that could look you right in the eye right now and tell you, 'I was here when that baby was born,' " he added.

If he got his MA in Sociology in 1964 as Source watch says, and received it from the same college where he got his undergraduate degree (as the reference implies), he certainly was NOT there when the messiah arrived on Aug 4, 1961. Someone should do some checking on this as if Abercrombie is lying, the question would be WHY?

Now tell me how he was there when Barry was supposed to be born? Was he taking correspondance courses at Union college to get his MA in Sociology? Was he taking internet classes, lol? Why does no reporter do a little fact checking and ask him how he was getting his masters in Schenectady NY at the same time he knew Barry parents when Barry was born?

Amazing how adroit these libs are when it comes to lying and how adept they are at avoiding media scrutiny for their outrageous remarks, while osmebody like CHristine O’Donnell becomes a “witch’ because she dated a guy years ago who was a witch - yet NO ONE questioned it.

If as he claims Abercrombie was there and new Obama’s parents when he was born then why has it taken this long for him to come forth and say something? This issue has been ongoing for years now and yet he is just speaking out. Makes no sense.
Didn’t WND offer some sort of money offer for anyone who can provide proof of Obama’s birth hospital? Why Abercommie hasn’t spoken out previously about this smells fishy.
Why is anybody bothering with all this investigative work?

That said, I’m sure they’ve been working long and hard on a forgery and I think they feel pretty secure about it - proably because they’ve been reading FR and know what we’re going to look for.
This is all a stunt. And in terms of verification, nobody is ever going to be allowed to physically examine the purported original birth certificate.

According to Abercrombie’s campaign Web site, he moved to Hawaii in 1959 and got his masters from UH-Manoa in 1964.
However, what really caught my eye is the name he and his wife gave their cat - Che. Gives you an idea where this guy’s head is and what the probability is that he is going to do anything other than continue the bizarre obfuscation about Obama’s birth certificate.
What is the right hand doing? There is a reason all these liberals are suddenly talking about the birth certificate. What else are they doing? Why are they trying to distract us right now?

the thing is records show StanleyAnne and baby 0dumbo were living at Mercer island Wa and she registered at UWa 2 weeks after 0dumbo was supposedlyborn. She according to UWa’s records attended school there until summer 62.0bama senior left Hi june 62 to go to mainland and toru USA before he ended up at Harvard.
So when did ol neil see baby 0dumbo with his supposed parents?
one last note, neil’s brother( IIRC his name is hal) remembers obams senior but doesn’t remember ever seeing him with someone named StanleyAnne or Anna etc let alone with a baby 0dumbo . Others in the grop who hung around with neil and his brother also don’t remember obams senior being swith Stanelyanne or bringing a baby 0dumbo

He is only pursuing an answer to one of two questions that will determine Obey-me’s eligibility:
1) Was he born in the United States / Hawaii?
2) Were both parents US Citizens?
I suspect Obama was born in Hawaii, but if his father is who Obama himself says is his father, he is not eligible.
IMO, the distraction here is in ignoring the second question.
Interesting as to the dates, but not conclusive either way. If you have 5 years between BA and MA, you wouldn’t be taking classes the whole time. A master’s usually takes 1-2 years if you are full-time. More plausible is that he did some classes off and on (maybe even transferred credits) — which makes being in Hawaii for some or mauch of that time not impossible, but neither does it give any evidence that it is so. Probably somewhere in his Hawaiian politcal life he has made statements as to what he was doing where and when, when he came to Hawaii.
So what if whatsisname was born in Hawaii? Papa was no American. To be a "Natural Born American Citizen," both parents have to be citizens.
The Constitution lays out the requirements for Federal elected offices. Any sort of citizen can qualify for Congress, providing residence requirements are met. The only time the words "Natural Born Citizen" are used is for Presidential candidates. I wish that the founders had not taken this for granted and explained it at the time. But the most reasonable review of THEIR sources tends to back this up.
Team Obama, et al, place great store by the 14th Amendment and the word "jurisdiction." It has also been used to grant ...quite wrongly ... all of those born within our borders citizenship in the US. The offspring of visiting foreign citizens, illegal aliens, non-citizens, or the offspring of one American and one foreigner are not Natural Born citizens. Indeed,except for the last case, in which the child would probably be a "Native" born citizen, they are not citizens at all.
This question must be addressed, and while it is ignored, our country is crumbling under the weight of illegals and their "anchor babies." Chinese travel agencies are even arranging birth tours!
