Muslim woman reports attack outside Ohio mosque

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A 20-year-old immigrant from Somalia said someone assaulted her with pepper spray outside an Ohio mosque and told her to leave the country, spurring investigations by police and likely the FBI.

The FBI said Tuesday it will likely open a civil rights investigation, the results of which would be turned over to federal prosecutors for any possible charges.

A mosque security camera recorded the encounter.

I don't know about this encounter, but I'm willing to bet that 99% of the time a muslim woman is assaulted it is by a muslim man.

The safety of women walking on the streets concerns me. She may be a demented pedophile worshiper who holds hatred as her sole spiritual culmination in this life. I still don’t like people attacked randomly and/or anonymously. If she wants to wrap herself in hatred and do no harm to others fine. I don’t want less attention to this attack. I would feel better if attention was distributed more fairly.
