Nine years after the terrorist attacks of 2001, the United States is assembling a vast domestic intelligence apparatus to collect information about Americans, using the FBI, local police, state homeland security offices and military criminal investigators.
The system, by far the largest and most technologically sophisticated in the nation's history, collects, stores and analyzes information about thousands of U.S. citizens and residents, many of whom have not been accused of any wrongdoing.

If I may humbly suggest, “homeland security” would be a hell of a lot easier without 15 million illegal aliens and wide open borders in the south.
So it occurs to me that all this monitoring really isn’t about security so much as it is turning this country into a police state where the taxpayers are human livestock on a government run tax farm.
Another installment in the price we pay for allowing certain people of a certain religious persuasion in our country.
Meanwhile, nothing is done to seal the Mexican border, drug sales are skyrocketing, and Latino gangs are emerging as the new criminal organizations nationwide.
Bookmarking this for sure. Counterterrorism efforts in my state are scary, considering the small population as compared to other states.
Are they taking into consideration the fact that not all the illegals crossing the border are Mexican?
