I am guessing that Socks belonged (in the sense of love and affection) to Mrs. Currie all along. I can't see hillary or bill petting, feeding or changing litter for a cat.

You and I are animal lovers and our pets are family members, I know people who own animals but do not feel like that about them. It is the humans loss as well as the animals.

Am sure he is a prop. . .just as was Clinton's dog; who spent most of his live in the basement quarters - or so it was offered that was the case. That said; given the Obama's disdain of America's heritage; Bo probably has run of the house - doing 'whatever'. But again; could be wrong here; just don't think so. As well, many/most (?) Muslims do not like dogs; and am betting this is a 'first dog' in every sense, for Obama. (Which for some reason, makes me wonder if Obama has ever pwned or even driven a car. . .for real. . .)

That is a nice dog. I heard he’s from one of the best kennels. He’s already figured out he’s head of the pack so Bam Bam doesn’t stand a chance of “training” him. I’d be willing to bet that the kennel owner will get the dog back as soon as they leave the WH.
