Dems will drop Don't Ask Repeal for Republican support for Start Treaty.
vanity

Posted on 12/17/2010 5:31:38 PM PST by RED SOUTH

I called it correct yesterday that the dems were dropping Omnibus spending bill only to put forth Dream Act and Don't Ask Repeal. And thats what they did today. The clock is running out and time did not permit and ugly fight over the spending bill so they changed course. Now watch for the republicans to float letting the Start Treaty pass if the dems drop Don't Ask. Tomorrow the dems will drop Don't Ask and make the deal. That leaves one last chip on the table , the Dream act.

Obama wants the start treaty as part of his Reagan redux narrative that he plans to run on in 2012.

The next republican president can abrogate a treaty. He or she cannot change the regulations of the military.

There’s something fishy as to why they want this treaty so bad, though.

So this means the Dems think START will hurt us more than DADT...

The Bush presidents gave 1 for 1 deals and now Congress uses this unsustainable policy that has been used by the democrats (who never give an inch while the pubs give a mile for concessions) to destroy America quite successfully. George Bush senior believed in it and he lasted only one term; George W. Bush used the same policy and he was very weak because of it.
The old guard bought out, sold out lets make a deal republicans must be replaced with conservatives or a true third party needs to rise up and replace the political immoral monsters on the communist left and rino right.

Senator Bennett (who was bumped out in the primary) will not be coming back.

Hairy Reed finally figured out that his, Senator Bennett's, claim that he spoke for 9 other Republican Senators was total BS.

Apparently it had skipped his mind that Bennett was a total lameduck and it was UNLIKELY he spoke for anyone ~ not even hiself after January 3 at Noon!

16.5 days worth of a Senate seat is not very valuable. Never has been.

[There’s something fishy as to why they want this treaty so bad, though.]

The bloody left wing communist democrats will use it to destroy the conservative military might so only sissies and manly girls will be left, a boon to communist nations who would over run them like a flash flood.

What should keep the RINOs from voting for the DADT repeal is the letter they signed not to pass legislation until the funding of the government passes into law. The Bush tax extension is now law so the funding of the government is what is left to prevent them. Lets hope they keep their word, and the McConnell stalls it to the end of the lame duck session. The super-sized Omnibus bill failed, which was the funding to extend the government.

McConnell stalls government funding and remind the RINOs to stay in line by voting no on DADT, DREAM, and START.

Maybe some Repellicans are willing to play this game just to spite Sarah Palin who came out emphatically against this unrighteous treaty obligation. Just as we found out here in CA with Schwartzenrenegger, RINO's and other wishy-washy weak-kneed Repellicans do more harm by far than even out-and-out horrific leftists!!!

Bohener may have bawled too much on 60 Minutes, but by golly he sure knew better than to admit he favored ANY kind of compromise!!! Even he knows better than to put conservatism, or the Tea Party into a "compromising position!!!"

I could give a $%^& about the START treaty.

It it isn't passed, so what? That won't destroy our nation.

Tossing out God's law further than we have by giving tacit approval to homosexual perversion in the military will further destroy the nation.

Granting amnestry to illegal aliens will further destroy the nation.

Hello!?

How hard is this?

Do we have complete idiots in Washington?
