The problem is those who stand against repeal of DADT are in very small numbers. The ruling class knows we'll stomp our feet and yell awhile, but they're used to it.

The huge majority of Americans are disassociated with the military and don't think the DADT repeal will have any affect any more than any other societal sector. Oh, they'll prattle on with platitudes about how they "support the troops," but they have no clue about what life in uniform entails. The only real attention they pay to the military is whether DoD pulls its bases (read: JOBS) from their local areas. It's based on an economic, not societal connection.

The remainder -- the moonbats of the hard left -- are the worst. Right now, these types are crapping all over themselves with excitement because finally they can rip the moral core out of the heart of the last bastion of America's traditional makeup: its military. They know EXACTLY what they're doing to the Armed Forces. It's what they've craved for ages.
