In 1965, at the age of 17 1/2, I proudly enlisted in the U.S. Army. I can tell you that if this gay crap was going on then, I would have never left home.
AND, “Cover Your Buddy’s Behind”.
Yes, and I see that I spelled SCWEW wrong. LOL
What do mean almost? A 'cold civil war' has been raging in this country for nearly 60 years now. When it finally goes hot, who is going to be surprised . . . really?
Poor America.
LOL!
Fags in, chaplains out! (FICO)
America IS screwed.
“The Sacred Band (of Theibs) originally was formed of hand-picked men who were couples, each lover and beloved selected from the ranks of the existing Theban citizen-army. The pairs consisted of the older “heníochoi”, or charioteers, and the younger “parabátai”, or companions, all housed and trained at the city’s expense in order to fight as hoplites. During their early engagements, they were dispersed by Gorgidas throughout the front ranks of the Theban army in an attempt to bolster morale.........
Defeat came at the Battle of Chaeronea (338 BC), the decisive contest in which Philip II of Macedon, with his son Alexander, extinguished Theban hegemony. The traditional hoplite infantry was no match for the novel long-speared Macedonian phalanx: the Theban army and its allies broke and fled, but the Sacred Band, although surrounded and overwhelmed, refused to surrender. James G. DeVoto says in The Theban Sacred Band that Alexander had deployed his cavalry behind the Macedonian hoplites, apparently permitting “a Theban break-through in order to effect a cavalry assault while his hoplites regrouped.” The Thebans of the Sacred Band held their ground and nearly all 300 fell where they stood beside their last commander, Theagenes. Plutarch records that Philip II, on encountering the corpses “heaped one upon another”, understanding who they were, exclaimed, Perish any man who suspects that these men either did or suffered anything unseemly.”

If I had a gay surgeon and he could cut straight, a lesbian pilot who knew how a land a plane in a storm, or one bad ass chap wearing village people loving Indian who could operate a 50 caliber in the desert like a fire hose, why would I care whom they slept with? And further more, why should the it be any of the government’s business?
How many openly gay people are just waiting for this to pass so they can join the military? I mean are there ten, forty, a hundred? Personally, I think most people don’t discuss openly what sexual orientation they are... they just go about their life. All this will do is destroy the military IMHO. Just a thought.
Who knows, however, given what I just said and the obvious truth to it (prop 8 passed in CA because of the huge black and hispanic turnout for bambi), I would think it very unwise for gays to now be open just because the military will not take any action against them. There are many ways to show disapproval besides overt beatings and harassment. The black and hispanic subculture is NOT gay tolerant and no amount of “change” is going to change that. But more importantly, the media and the court system walk on eggshells when it comes to “hate crimes” committed by minorities.
I think gays are going to end up hoist by their own petard. They should have stopped at “leave us alone.” I really don’t think this is going to end up well for them in the long run.
I’m so F-in fed up of these queers and their sick perverted agenda.
What republican if any voted for this crap because they need to be targeted and lose their jobs.
Making homosexuals run around base , cross dressing and then having to have these queers in your face will destroy the military.
I can’t even write what I’m thinking right now but not one appeasement to them ever.
American civilians are just fine with repeal of DADT. This will not get their attention.
for over a 100 years my family has served and now it seems my sons will not and I will be the last one in this family to have served due to these homosexuals.
What they do not get is that many men still serving will not stand there and look at some cross dressers or homosexuals makking come on’s to another guy.
There’;s going to be a lot of trouble with this and I’ll say one what friend served with said and is still serving in Kabul
“if one queer makes one look at me then he will never be seeing anything again”
The liberals won’t be happy until everyone is gay.
Can’t this be filibustered (if necessary) in the Senate?
Any serious response to you would be a waste of my time.
The Constitution vests in Congress the power to "make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces." (Article I, section 8). So it may be bad policy, but it is certainly Congress's job, not the military's.
