NYT: White House advisors totally surprised by Obama-Clinton press conference
Hot Air ^ | DECEMBER 10, 2010 | ALLAHPUNDIT

Oh, I’ll bet they were. Say what you will about Axe, Gibbsy, and the rest of the crew, but I’d like to think they have the basic political common sense to avoid photo ops where the president has to skip out after a minute or two to go eat gingerbread cookies.

I’d like to think The One had the same basic political common sense, but … we learn something new every day, don’t we?

The leader of the free world and the ex-leader wandered a deserted hallway, past the offices of the senior advisers, only to discover the door to the press corps briefing room locked.

Pelosi was to become president and Reid would become her vice president.

BITE YOUR TONGUE! (I mean smash your fingers!)

...when 0 was cornered to return the favor to BC .... he chose THAT moment to boogie on out.

Strange man....strange behavior.

I don't think Obama and Bubba have much use for each other. In many ways, they're too much alike. They're both pathologically narcissistic, and both have misused the office of president for their own self-aggrandizement, and to force unwanted change on the American people.

In a crazy world, your wikileaks theory sounds reasonable. Assange already called for Zero to resign. I’m sure there are more bombshells, used as insurance, to keep Assange out of jail.

Obama made a deal with Clinton to get elected and I think he regrets it. I also think that the Clinton people Obama brought in was giving him bad advise.. Plain and simple.

I didn't like Clinton, but he is a good speaker..

The only individual who might be as natural a politician as President Bill Clinton is Governor Sarah Palin. What other “failed” vice presidential candidate ever came back and made themselves into the powerhouse that she’s become?

Agreed, but Sarah is in a rarefied league of politician that Bubba could never hope to attain.

He's merely shrewd, where Sarah is wise and instinctive. He's a bully, where she's a real fighter who can rip your guts out, if need be. He's a poser who feigns affection for others, while Sarah exhibits an honest love and admiration for others. He governed through manipulation and strong arm tactics, while Sarah has governed through wise and courageous decision-making, which gained her solid support across the boards.

Sarah Palin is in the natural statesman class, which is a level of leadership we rarely see in US (or even world) politics. These are the sorts of people who have statues raised raised in their honor, and are revered by succeeding generations, once they're gone.

I've said it before...she's a throw-back to the type of politician our country was blessed with in abundance, in its early decades. She has more in common with those giants of our history, than she does with political gamesmen like Bill Clinton.

He abdicated the thrown.

He was never on the throne to start with! 0h0m0 is a puppet of Soros through Rahm then after a palace coup, Rahm is out, axe's balls were axed by brass ones that belong to Wookie and Jarret who are running the country for Soros!

As it turned to be, our "fellow" Americans elected a REAL Communist foreigner, accent and all, from Hungary as POTUS.

The only throne 0b0z0, the 0baby in chief, sat on was a toilet, that of course, if he knew how to use it!

Methinks someone aught to be securing the football right about now...

Someone should, but we know they're not. This country is at extreme risk every day that man sits in the White House.

Your cousin is full of crap.

This entire episode was just a brain fart by Obama, who forgot that Slick Willie simply never shuts up...especially when in front of a fawning media.

So Obama is admiting this is above his paygrade?

I don't think he's admitting it - he's simply proving that the presidency is above his pay grade, yet again.
