Oprah Rips Americans for Not Supporting Obama

Syndicated TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey tore into the American people for lacking "reason," "respect," "civility," and "decency" and "only thinking about themselves" for not supporting Barack Obama. Winfrey made her scathing criticism during an interview with ABC's Barbara Walters.

A survey released this week showed that a majority of the country believes they are worse off after nearly two years of the Obama presidency.

WALTERS: "And today, what would you say to him (Obama)? How do you feel about it all?"

WINFREY: "I feel that it is, first of all why would anybody want that job? To get, because no matter what you do and how uh, much you give of your heart and wisdom and uh, soul and energy, and I think he's, he's really fully there, giving his all. And to be criticized the way he is I think it's unfortunate. I think it's unfortunate when you have a nation of people who don't want to support the president of the United States."

WALTERS: "Do you think he's communicating?"

WINFREY: "I think that he is. You know what I think that what wasn't communicated? I think we don't realize was how close we came to depression. And as soon as we got saved from the brink of that we all forgot what that was, we all forgot. And so I think that he has done a lot and I think that people uh, can't see it because they're only thinking about themselves. The fact that people uh, still are out of jobs, but we're not in breadlines, we have forgotten, we have forgotten how close we came.

"So I think that there needs to be a greater level of respect and a sense of uh, decency and civility and reason. And I think we, we've lost that."

And in 8 years of the Bush administration, did she voice the same kind of concerns?

You can be sure that The Oprah has her billions safely tucked away so that Big Brother can’t touch it.

You know, idiots like her are beginning to slide me left a bit.

She’s produced nothing real in her life, yet she has billions.

That money should be mine, since I’ve done real work.

All mine.

Now.

Well, maybe if Obama wouldn’t have played race politics incessantly, or if he had listened to the majority of Americans who didn’t want him to buy the auto companies, or do the stimulus or ram through health care, they might respect or support him. But he has labeled and villified anyone who doesn’t agree with him and deserves to be isolated.

"So I think that there needs to be a greater level of respect and a sense of uh, decency and civility and reason. And I think we, we've lost that."

Barack Obama HIRED the man behind this sticker campaign to make his HOPE-CHANGE posters (that were illegally posted with wheatpaste on public property):

Additionally, Oprah also attended Jeremiah Wright's church but left because even she was uncomfortable with the vile rhetoric that was coming from Mr. Wright and his guests. She left before Obambi, she is aware of where Mr. Obama stands. She knows he is not without sin or hate. She is a lying hypocrite.

At least I can say, with pride, that I never bothered to watch her show or purchase any of her products.

I watched a bit of that show last night but after about fifteen minutes into it I began to wonder...WHY?

But hey, I got to laugh at Oprah, all-wise and all-knowing, she who will lead us from darkness into light.

She says we “disrespect” Obama? Well yeah. what’s her point?

Don’t lose no sleep over it, yon readers. Oprah’s little network will probably blow up in her face, we all can hope.
