My memory on this is foggy, but I don't think the accusations that he collaborated with the Viet Cong for his life was ever resolved, just disappeared into foggy bottom.
The years following the war were heart breaking for those wanting the issue of POW’s/MIA’s resolved.
His milked his war hero status for all it's worth. What a contrast to the young soldier who just received the Medal of Honor. He felt it belonged to the men he served with.

By the time the NM primary rolled around, it was down to McCain or Ron Paul. Hell of a choice. I picked Paul, as I knew he wouldn't win, because I couldn't bring myself to vote for McLame.

POW or not, he's consistently shown he's not a conservative. I always thought he'd be the Manchurian Candidate, but it appears they were one step ahead in Obama.

I refused to vote for any of the GOP clowns in the primary, but I did vote Palin/McCain in the general. I reserve the right to complain about any choice I don’t like :)
