The Senate bill contains fees that could be considered tax provisions, which under congressional rules supposed to originate in the House, according to House and Senate aides who requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak about the situation.

House Republicans could call a vote to send the bill back to the Senate for another vote. That could hurt the bill's chances as Congress rushes to wrap up for the year.

Morons. Those aren't congressional rules, they're the Constitution.

Congressional rules?

How about the Constitution!

All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives, but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills."

Article 1, Sec. 7[1]

Bad news: Violating the Constitution is considered merely a SNAFU by the WAPO.

Eh.
Those aren't rules.
They're more like... guidelines.

Wow! Nancy Malpalosi will want to shove this thing through, but she may be put under pressure to defend the rights of the House against encroachment by the Senate.

Remember, the House is still stuffed with angry Democrats who are about to get thrown out. Who knows what they will do?

Unemployment Bill is even crazier. Pelosi says that Unemployment is great for growing the economy and creating jobs. Not a joke.

Yes, that is what is written.

But Obama’s health care reform contains trillions of new fees and expenses and mandates for spending controls, and the bill that was passed originated in the Senate also. And nobody seems to care about that little “snafu” ....

Food Safety in the military was decreased back in 1975 when the Army food inspectors and the DPSC got caught taking kickbacks for accepting substandard foods for the military. The resulting Senate investigation and actions resulted in abolishing the organization that uncovered the entire fiasco, the USAF Veterinary Service. Now we have duplicitous duties all performed by the Army Veterinary service and the FDA.

And then there is this: “...Senate aides who requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak about the situation.”

What? They are not authorized to comment on what the constitution says about the separation of powers?
