A cap-and-trade system for carbon emissions has been touted by environmentalists as a market-friendly mechanism to reduce global warming. Well, the market has spoken. The Chicago Climate Exchange, which advertises itself as "North America's only cap and trade system for greenhouse gasses," is shutting down.

From my perspective, we need “global warming” Helena has been experiencing snow off and on today with a high temp of zero but will drop down to 20 below zero tonight with a wind chill of 40 below zero.
Well, actually some of us fly over country hicks who love our bible & guns made out pretty well also. Delta Corp. is the one in Chicago who bought our carbon credits, we laughed all the way to the bank. About ten years ago we planted trees on our acreage, when we found out we could sell the carbon credits we signed up. Couldn’t believe when we received a check more than the amount of the original 400 acres we had bought years ago.
No way!!! He'll immediately turn into a crazed sex poodle again like he did with that massuse!!!
Happy news! I noted this in a talk 4 years ago and am glad its gone.
Freaking unreal...the plan to get the nasty pollutant out of the air....no matter what China does with its coal fired power plants....
