The problem is this secondary screening process, and the policies enacted in it. It's a child. Yes, it's possible the child could be carrying for someone else, but it isn't worth the trauma to thousands of children just because something is possible.

And above all, no police officer would be permitted to conduct that type of search on a little child. Why would we permit those who have less authority, less training, and less answering to the public conduct searches a police officer is forbidden to do?

All of this search and assault crime by TSA is being perpetrated to avoid that strategic requirement. What is to stop one of the TSA workers who is a muzie fanatic from going to the rest room, which has no cameras and coming back bombed up and ready to explode themselves?

A lot of victims...more machine gun toting Military like after 9/11, less border control....CHAOS and terror. They are not always after a big body count, chaos and terror works just fine for them.

In other words who is searching the TSA worker before they start to work? And after they come back from break?

How often are they changing those germ riddled gloves? Good way to spread infectious disease.

The TSA is doing more damage for security than good with their idiotic approach to these things.

In the end, they will look like fools, public pressure will make others “think for the TSA” and make them back off, but not before they make all sorts of rules and impose restrictions that actually minimize law enforcements capabilities.

The secret to all of this is that it has to be non intrusive and not be inconvenient. You can screen 100% of the baggage and people are OK with that, but if you dumped it on the floor in front of them and made them repack their luggage in the terminal people would get pissed. The TSA’s approach is invasive/intrusive, perceived as possibly being a health risk and it's very in your face and personal. That the public will reject this was to be expected and now the answer of the TSA is to attempt to “sell the idea” to the public. It won't work.

I wonder, when the TSA was contemplating this idea, did they really look at those people that will be screened, did they confer with the airline and ask what they thought, or did they simply analyze the capabilities of this system, it's cost, training to use etc? Typical government operation. Completely disconnected from reality when being planned, briefed as a success on bubble charts as it's phased in and finally a complete failure in execution because ahhhh ummmmmm, ohhhh the “customer” was forgotten (You know, those people that have to be exposed to this, that pay to fly, that are the purpose of the airports existence, that vote.......). In government, the government becomes the customer.

Now, instead of rethinking this, the answer will be to sell you how great this idea is, that is until through political pressure they are made to back off! lol This is hilarious.
