The National Governors Association (NGA) announced Wednesday that Gov. Chris Gregoire was picked to chair the group.
Gregoire was named chairwoman of the bipartisan organization of governors by the NGA executive committee. She becomes the second woman to lead the association.

If I understand this brief article, Republican and Democrat governors alternate, and Gregoire replaced another Dem who didn’t finish her time.
So, presumably, it was Dem governors who voted for Christine?
Well, she is a very accomplished vote stealer, you have to give her that. And that’s what the Democrats need at this point. No doubt she can give them some good advice on how to steal votes.
Theft is all she’s good at.
Another association tossed into the pits of disregard because of their actions.
I’ve met her a few times.....she’s a bug-eyed moron.
The first woman to chair was Katherine Blanco, the Governor of Louisiana who was so totally incompetent during Hurricane Katrina.
It was her, not Bush, that turned Katrina into a cluster. Haley Barbour of Mississippi had the same hurricane, but wasn't a clueless Democrat.
Oh, yea. They reward failure.

Aren’t the majority of the country’s Governors now Republican? And yet a RAT leads the NGA.Un-bleepng believable!
Not yet they aren’t they’re lame ducked: Of course they (the Democrats) had to screw the American people one-more-time!
If they are going to to do this; then I say we do the same favor to them. When we have a chance, we should take everything from the Demos/liberals. DECLARE WAR-and never look back.
