Ignore the frequency limitations inherent in AESA arrays, ignore the ongoing thermal issues (AESA as is still cannot operate at full power), etc. The idea of magically creating a DC to light EW weapon out of a very nice electronically scanned (very hot running) array constrained to an octave or less bandwidth............I have to laugh, though it does ping the Buck Rogers bell..........
