Elements of the investigation into Lindblad’s activities are posted on the FBI website, where it was reported that:
“A detective in Bangor, Maine assigned to monitor a registered sex offender believes the man, Sam Lindblad, has been attempting to molest children again. The detective’s suspicion was aroused after the manager of the apartment complex where Lindblad resides found an advertisement posted by Lindblad in the complex laundry room, offering to tutor children after school. When the detective went to Lindblad’s apartment to question him, he noticed crayon drawings by children on the refrigerator and observed Lindblad cutting pictures of young boys out of catalogues.”
NAMBLA says about Jennings: “We don’t know if Mr. Jennings supports us or not. We do know that he supports efforts to make schools places where gay kids and straight kids and kids who don’t fit into either of those categories can go and not be bullied or harassed or made to feel like any less of a person–and that is a goal we too support.”
In fact, as the Lindblad case shows, NAMBLA is an organization whose members conspire to sexually abuse children. NAMBLA members look for opportunities to get into close contact with children. Pro-homosexual efforts in the schools provide that opportunity.
Hay, who inspired Jennings, was not apparently a formal member of NAMBLA. But former FBI agent Hamer told Accuracy in Media that the NAMBLA membership list was secret and it is impossible to know for sure. “I never heard a NAMBLA member say that Hay was not a member,” Hamer said. In fact, Hay spoke favorably of NAMBLA, including at the organization’s conferences. When Hay died in 2002, Hamer noted, he was on the cover of the NAMBLA Bulletin. Hay was also a communist. After he turned to Marxism and embarked on a career of homosexual activism, Hay abandoned his wife, a fellow member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). He had been introduced to the Communist Party by actor Will Geer, who played Grandpa on “The Waltons” television show and was a communist himself.
Interestingly, the federally-funded National Endowment for the Arts and Corporation for Public Broadcasting put taxpayer dollars into a 2002 film, “Hope Along the Wind: The Life of Harry Hay,” which ignores Hay’s support for NAMBLA but actually has some important and relevant information about his CPUSA activities.
Hay joined the Communist Party in 1934 and eventually resigned, but not for ideological reasons. Rather, the controversy surrounding the CPUSA and the need to avoid bringing even more critical attention to Hay’s homosexual organizing efforts prompted his leaving the Moscow-funded and -controlled apparatus.
The “Hope Along the Wind” film explains: “Many American Communists would leave the party when Joseph Stalin’s reign of terror in the Soviet Union could no longer be denied. But when Harry Hay left in 1950 his reasons were very different.”
In other words, Hay remained a Stalinist.
“During his years in New York City, between 1939 and 1942, when he had access to the [Communist] Party’s library, he read the historical writings of Marx and Engels and took advanced classes in Marxist theory with the intention of becoming a Party educator,” says Radically Gay: Gay Liberation in the Words of Its Founder. In fact, Hay did become a CPUSA “educator.”
Reports of the California Senate Fact-finding Committee on Un-American Activities identify Hay by name as an instructor during the 1940s at the California Labor School, a CPUSA front whose purpose was to “teach, advocate and propagandize Marxism-Leninism.” Hay is described as a leader in the party in charge of communist-style entertainment activities.
Hay was summoned to appear before the House Committee on Un-American Activities in 1954 to testify about his CPUSA membership. But because he was officially out of the party by then, he refused to talk about it.
His real contribution to communism in America was developing the idea that homosexuals, like the “workers” under capitalism, were being oppressed and had to assert their “rights.” Although some CPUSA officials disapproved of the homosexual lifestyle, the Hay approach was seen as a means by which American society could be subverted and undermined.
Some have claimed that Hay was “expelled” from the CPUSA, but the film explains that Hay realized he needed to leave the Communist Party so that he could do his work organizing the Mattachine Society, the first official “gay rights” group, on a more effective basis. This is explained through interviews with Hay and Miriam Sherman, a Communist Party organizer who served as Hay’s “boss” in the party.
Needless to say, the documented communist origin of the “gay rights” movement in the U.S. is not a subject you will see highlighted by “gay rights” groups or discussed on the MSNBC cable show hosted by lesbian commentator Rachel Maddow.
While Jennings praised a communist pervert, his boss, President Barack Obama, was mentored by one. Obama’s childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, was under FBI surveillance and a security risk because of his CPUSA membership. Davis wrote a biographical novel, Sex Rebel, about having sex with children and engaging in other forms of bizarre sexual activity.
The entire relationship was sanitized by Obama and his campaign, with Davis being described as a civil rights activist.
As if the Jennings controversy wasn’t enough, Obama has now appointed Amanda Simpson, who describes herself as “one of the first transgender appointees to the federal government,” as a senior technical adviser to the Commerce Department. Other reports say that Simpson, a member of the board of the National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE) for the past three years, is the first openly transgender presidential appointee.
NCTE, like the Center for American Progress, is funded by the Open Society Institute of billionaire George Soros. NCTE received $50,000 from the Open Society Institute in 2007. The Soros group gave $70,000 to the Transgender Law Center in San Francisco in the same year.
The Jennings-founded group, the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN), is a member, along with Simpson’s NCTE, of the “New Beginning Initiative” to encourage the Obama Administration to make policy changes to benefit the “gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.”
“We would like to thank the Open Society Institute for their generous funding of this initiative,” the announcement says. The amount is $355,000 over two years, provided through a special “Seize the Day” fund to “support transformational change in the United States.”
The announcement of this new initiative was made only about two months after the Jennings appointment became known.
“The global economic crisis and recent changes in the U.S. political environment have elevated the risks and opportunities for building a better society, resulting in a ‘perfect storm’ for transformative change in America,” declares the Open Society Institute.
The “storm” has arrived, courtesy of Obama and appointees such as Jennings and Simpson.

It’s important to add that the “Won” has been adamant about indoctrination of our children at earlier and earlier ages—please research his “Convention on the Rights of the Child”, which, in essence, gives rights to the child OVER the parental rights (via the United Nations). If the child feels he/she is being forced to attend religious services against his/her will, they (children) have the final say. Parental rights are out the window. (I HATE to say “google it”, as I think google spies for the guvmint, but try another search engine.)
Remember, also, that the “Won’s” Food “Safety” Czar was the Vice President of Monsanto-Michael Taylor-—the company known for seeds that have 1 year’s “life”. Then, you have to buy more from Monsanto the NEXT year, if you want a crop....and on and on...PLUS, genetically modified seeds (Monsanto seeds) are suspect in ruining (by cross-pollination) OTHER crops, but also have been suspected in human ailments-—strange “fibers” under the skin. A Marxist atheist trained in materialism, Harry Hay tried to find spirituality in his own confused sexual identity, eventually developing the idea that he was a “Radical Faerie” who had male and female traits. A communist, he was also a supporter of the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA).
Education Department official Kevin Jennings says that Hay inspired him, and the Jennings-founded group, the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN) has promoted favorable material about Hay, the acknowledged founder of the modern “gay rights” movement, without offering any criticism or even acknowledgement of his defense of adult-child sex.
But Hay’s leading role in the “Radical Faerie” movement may be even more controversial than his communist views and pro-NAMBLA activities.
Hay in 1979 issued a call for a “Spiritual Conference for Radical Faeries” that included a poem from the notorious occultist Aleister Crowley. Stuart Timmons, author of The Trouble With Harry Hay, documents Hay’s involvement with Crowley, noting that Hay played the organ for the Los Angeles lodge of Crowley’s Order of the Eastern Temple, a “notorious anti-Christian spiritual group” where “homosexual sex-magic rituals” took place.
Crowley, who regarded himself as the “Beast 666,” the anti-Christ, and the incarnation of Satan, also organized in such cities as London and Paris, where he developed a relationship with New York Times correspondent Walter Duranty, as recounted in S.J. Taylor’s book, Stalin’s Apologist. Taylor says that Crowley staged homosexual rituals with Duranty in which they chanted “blood and semen.”
Like Hay, Duranty had a major impact on history. As the Moscow correspondent for the New York Times after the communist revolution, he helped cover up Stalin’s crimes. Hay was a Stalinist himself and stayed in the Communist Party even after the Hitler-Stalin pact.
Hay’s confusion about his own sexual identity, including the belief that he somehow benefitted from being preyed upon by homosexual predators, is something that should be pitied. But it has been elevated by the “homosexual community” into another “right” to be guaranteed by government. That is why the modern-day “gay rights” movement celebrates bisexuality, cross-dressing, and “transgender” lifestyles. It has now become known as the GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender) “community.”
At one time, NAMBLA was a member of the International Lesbian and Gay Association, and its NAMBLA Bulletin belonged to the Gay and Lesbian Press Association. However, the “gay rights” establishment these days tries to play down the acceptance of NAMBLA in their movement, including by Hay himself.
Photos of Hay and his “Faeries” speak for themselves. One photo of Hay, who also became known as the “Father of the Faeries,” shows him later in life wearing pearls, a blouse, and what appears to be a rainbow dress. Hay referred to the “Faeries” as “sissy men” and they gathered in the woods to pay homage to the earth. Radical Faeries have also been featured in “gay rights” parades.
But in the same way that Hay’s Stalinism proves worrisome, author Will Roscoe writes that Hay was influenced by a book titled The Morning of the Magician, which traced the power of the occult back to the Nazi period. This is extremely significant. In addition to Hitler’s fascination with the occult, the genocidal dictator surrounded himself with a number of homosexual perverts in the Nazi Party.
Demonstrating that he was familiar with the career of Harry Hay, Obama Education Department official Kevin Jennings noted in his 1997 remarks that “In 1948, he [Hay] tried to get people to join the Mattachine Society.” What Jennings did not say, perhaps deliberately so, was that the Mattachine Society was a communist front organization.
The “Hope Along the Wind” film notes that a “Marxist education Class” being taught by Hay produced several recruits for the new organization. Hay himself said, “All of them [the founders] thought of themselves as Marxists. We’re all thinking in the same direction, feeling in the same direction, looking in the same way and feeling in our bodies: this is the beginning of a brotherhood. And this is the beginning of what we were going to be calling six months later the Mattachine Society.”
The film’s narrator adds, “The Mattachine Society was organized into a secret cell structure, similar to the Communist Party. Members in one cell never knew the members in another, protecting the group in case of arrest.”
These Marxists, led by Hay, expanded Hay’s original Marxist idea that homosexuals were considered oppressed by the capitalist system and in need of special rights. But Hay’s communist connections proved to be too controversial even at this time and he eventually left this organization as well.
Political acceptance was always the goal. Hay supported the 1948 presidential candidacy of Henry Wallace on the communist-dominated Progressive Party Ticket. Later, he acted within the Democratic Party, working as a member of Jesse Jackson’s “rainbow coalition” to elect the black activist as president.
Today, Hay would be “proud.” Five states have legalized “gay marriage,” the Democratic Party officially supports “gay rights,” the Obama Administration has lifted the ban on AIDS-infected foreigners entering the U.S., and Obama wants open homosexuals to join the ranks of the military.
Hay remained true to the communist cause to the end of his life in 2002. He says in the film, “I was part and parcel of that [the Communist Party] and I was proud to be part and parcel of that.”
One of his last public roles was as a representative of the “Radical Faerie Political Network” at the 1992 national convention of a Communist Party spin-off group, the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism (CCDS).
Stuart Timmons, the author of The Trouble With Harry Hay, wrote that it “saddened” Hay after the demise of the old Soviet Union to see people “throwing out the baby with the bath water” in completely denouncing communism. “Marxism needs to be revised, based on new scientific knowledge, particularly of human behavior,” Hay said. “The underlying methodology will be proved sound.”
His legacy is considered so positive among “gay rights” activists that he was hailed as one of many “gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender icons” by the “GLBT History month” project for 2009 and featured on the homosexual-oriented Logo television network.
However, as more and more people learn the truth about Harry Hay and how he was an inspiration to Kevin Jennings, scrutiny of Jennings—and those who appointed and support him—is growing.
This is why a group called Media Matters for America, run by a homosexual activist, is working feverishly to counter any allegations deemed harmful to Jennings and his mission at the Education Department. Its usual procedure is to label any critics of the homosexual movement as promoting “hate” or engaging in “smears” and “lies.”
At the same time, the George Soros-funded Center for American Progress (CAP) is also monitoring and attempting to rebut criticism of Jennings. CAP is the same group that employed communist Van Jones before he went to the White House and then was ultimately forced out in scandal.
What these groups want desperately to avoid is the evidence, detailed in the first column in this series, that Jennings was completely aware of the Harry Hay record when he made his 1997 comments praising him, and that his GLSEN group has concealed the terrible facts about Hay from young people who should know.
One problem in getting the story out has been the influence of the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association (NLGJA), which is funded by—and includes employees of—almost every major media organization. It actually encourages its members to report favorably on the activities of the Jennings-founded group GLSEN and says that GLSEN works “to create safer schools,” buying into the official propaganda about the group.
The official NLGJA blog has already praised the “progressive” Media Matters group for defending Jennings and his praise of “gay rights pioneer” Harry Hay.
It’s no wonder that the Jennings scandal isn’t a story for most of the media.

Since yesterday there have been a couple of very active threads with quite a few zots so a lot of people who might be on these threads, are elsewhere debating with liberaltarians and leftists.
Oddly enough, I met a Radical Faerie in the early 80s. I didn’t know he was one (didn’t have the beard and frilly dress at the time) but when I heard that name “Radical Faeries” I almost threw up - I didn’t know what they were but I knew it was Evil. He had been introduced to me by some “friends” who I (wrongly) trusted, and he seemed like a normal guy.
What a shock! I had seen weirdos like that in SF in the early 70s, with beards and frilly dresses. Sodom and Gomorrah.
