When I saw the headline I thought this would be a parody article, but apparently Tina Brown is now Editor-in-Chief for Newsweak as well as The Daily Beast.
Good way to ensure the tabloidization of Newsweak, but since it's already been running on leftist fumes I'm sure the quality has nowhere to go but up.

Should they change the name?
How about “The Daily Week” or “News Beast”?

It’s still a joke publication, but now Newsweak will be in a position to rival the NY Times for cultural significance!

Can I assume that the merger has doubled Newsweek’s net value? You can now buy the entire company for two bucks, not one?

I believe there’s a misspelling in the headline.
Instead of “forces” it should read “farces”.

The nuances of how the editorial operation will function are still unclear Hey, conservatives still have a chance! If we each buy a copy...because if you don't buy a copy that's a vote for the liberals... Oh, never mind.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.

Wasn't "Newsweek Daily Beast Company" a character in the Book of Revelations?
If not, certainly a "daily weekly" is a sign of the Apocalypse.
