At one point he challenged her on her Saddam statement that Saddam was not pursuing WMD, comparing his 6 year old's son desire for an automobile as an analogy to Saddam. Stewart stated his 6 year old son desires a car, and even though it will take time and events, eventually he will get THAT CAR.

I would love to know the percentage of people in the United States believes that WMDs were in Iraq. They do polls for all this other nonsense, why not for this question. Could it be that the majority of people actually believed that WMDs were in Iraq even though nobody could find any? I bet that is why they never poll the Americans about this. First, Bill Clinton and the entire Senate, that’s all 100 senators, signed the 1998 Iraq Liberation Act. The state goal was to overthrow Saddam Insane and his entire regime and replace it with a democratic government.

That is a fact:
The Act found that between 1980 and 1998 Iraq had:

1. committed various and significant violations of International Law,
2. had failed to comply with the obligations to which it had agreed following the Gulf War and
3. further had ignored Resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.

Agents of Saddam were everywhere around the world, mostly Germany and France, trying to buy all the necessities for nukes/WMDs. They would admit to their European counterparts that they had an “unlimited” budget, and there were cutbacks in the 6 figures for both the agents (traveling always under diplomatic cover) and the Europeans they did business with.

This is absolute fact.

Whether or not Saddam had WMDs, he either thought he had them or was actively trying to acquire them.
