It looking about over in the AG race is Alamada country update and did not boost Harris any. It looks like Cooley is going to have about 100,000 vote win when it all said and done.
We need Cooley to win if for no other reason than to have a state-wide office holder who will be viable in future elections. Kamala Harris would be an utter disaster.
Rat Inviros had it shut off due to the friking Delta Smelt.””
The head of the enviro group was Robert Kennedy, Jr....he was who got the water shut off. He lives clear across the country....
It looks as though Vidak is still the winner at this point, 100% of precincts reporting.
I don’t know about absentee/provisional ballots, though. I sure hope Vidak wins.
And I am very hopeful about Cooley.
Shame about Harmer - I guess there’s no hope?
There are over 20,000 ballots outstanding and almost all of them are from the counties where Vidak lost by over 20%. It does not look good for Vidak.
Harmer has a better chance to pull through than Vidak.
I’m hoping and praying for Vidak. If he loses to Costa, there is no hope for Central Valley Farmers and farm workers.
I do not understand how California voters can continue to elect the dims that cater to the enviro-nazis. They have ruined California economy.
“There are over 20,000 ballots outstanding and almost all of them are from the counties where Vidak lost by over 20%.”
My mistake - the latest estimate is 14,000 ballots. Looks like Costa will win by abour 2,000 votes.
I agree with much of your premise, and I have absolutely no argument about Harris. She’s a marxist to the core and Law Enforcement is not what she’s about.
As for the AG position, it’s not just about the dims sweeping the election...The AG is the one who authorizes/writes the ballot/prop descriptions regarding the items voters are voting on.
How they’re worded is very important, because, as history has shown in CA, many voters here are woefully uninformed and get their information from commercials or the ballot description.
Look at what JB did with Prop 8 and other propositions while he was the AG. Weasel wording them to make them sound much worse or even outright misrepresenting what they were about. This caused some props to fail and others to be narrowly successful.
Cooley is more vital than many think. Not just from a ballot perspective either.
And yes, I would vote for him in future elections. [unless he does something extraordinarily stupid that causes me to lose confidence in him.]
in close races dems just keep recounting till they get a number they like........
