Climate Alarmism at the New York Times
American Thinker ^ | Nov 6, 2010 | Fred Singer

The New York Times editorial page has been persistent in publishing alarmist editorials on climate change. The latest one appearing shortly before the November elections accused politicians of being in "denial" about climate change. What nonsense! Climate is changing all the time; it has been doing it for millions of years -- without any human intervention. And politicians are simply trying to stay in step with the public.

There is no credible evidence at all that human activities have had any appreciable influence on global climate changes during the last century. While many scientists still believe in a major human contribution, the number of skeptical scientists has been growing steadily as the evidence against AGW [anthropogenic global warming] becomes ever more apparent.

I keep getting told the planet is warming. And meanwhile, my heater just runs and runs and runs.

Those Neanderthals who run the New York Times get alarmed by falling acorns but are oblivious to the things that should alarm them and do alarm sentient beings.

NYT: "Ugh! Sumpin fall on head! Sky falling! Global Warming! Ugh!"

Sentient Being: "No. It's just an acorn. The sky's not falling. The earth has always gone through cycles of warming and cooling. Try to evaluate things honestly."

NYT: "No! You Denier! Ugh! I club you wif club! Us doomed! Sky falling. Ugh!"

Sentient Being: "Oh put down your club. Crawl back into your cave. You're on the fast track to extinction anyway."

Ofcourse, everyone here knows this has nothing to do with global warming. The UN’s NWO idiots see that as the vehicle to global taxation and centralized control of the means of production.

Energy use is the world’s means of production. Taxing energy is the UN’s establishment of itself as a Federal taxation organization ruling over the whole world. It gives the UN the power to control energy use through punitive energy use taxation.

The greedy citizens of the world like Goldman Sachs, Gore and Barack support this because they get a cut of the pot of gold personally in the new carbon trading scheme. Some of them stand to lose a lot of money on their investment into the scam if America refuses to go along not to mention derailing the funding and centralized power proposed by the globalists for the UN.
