John Boehner's "GobGop" Plan to Sell Out the Tea Party in 2013. It Will Begin in January 2011.
Gary North's Specific Answers ^ | November 6, 2010 | Gary North

Posted on 11/06/2010 9:38:01 PM PDT by Tolerance Sucks Rocks

First, you must understand that Boehner is a GobGop: a Good Old Boy of the Grand Old Party. The GobGops' goal is to keep the present system funded by the Bigs: Big Business, Big Pharma, Big Oil, and Big Banking. If you do not understand this, then you are as naive as a Democrat who thinks Obama speaks for The Common Man.

Boehner shilled for Hank Paulson and Goldman Sachs by begging the Republicans to vote for the $750+ billion Big Bank Bailout in 2008. Watch his emotional performance here. "We just have to do it!" No, they didn't. Ron Paul told it straight. He is no GobGop.

Boehner is going to do it again. He has already told us what he intends to do.

The obvious target is Obamacare. The Tea Party voters hate it. They regard it as an affront.

You've probably seen this. It's all over the Web. It's supposedly from Maxine, the cartoon character who speaks for geezerdom.

Let me get this straight . . . . We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan

we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't,
Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor,
but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents,
written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it,
passed by a Congress that didn't read it
but exempted themselves from it,
and signed by a President who smokes,
with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes,
for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect,
by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare,
all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese,
and financed by a country that's broke!!!!!

'What the heck could possibly go wrong?'

This is all true. Tea Party people know it's all true. They threw the rascals out . . . but left enough of them behind to sell us out.

Boehner told a Fox News interviewer what he plans to do: (1) repeal Obamacare; (2) pass another heath care law. You can see the video here. Here is a direct quote:

"This health care bill will ruin the best health care system in the world, and it will bankrupt our country. We are going to repeal ObamaCare and replace it with common sense reforms that will bring down the cost of health insurance."

Big Pharma is not threatened by this. Big Pharma will clean up either way.

If Boehner is politically savvy, he will have the Republicans introduce a repeal bill as soon as he takes over as Speaker of the House. The following will then take place.

1. A straight party vote will pass it.
2. In the Senate, the Democrats will not pass it.
3. Boehner will then begin a two-year campaign:

"The Republican Party is committed to a repeal of Obamacare. In 2012, you will have another opportunity to vote the Democrats out of power in the Senate, and give the Republicans a President who will sign this bill."

He will play to the Tea Party. He will gain their trust. He will throw down the gauntlet on health insurance from day one. He will hammer relentlessly on this for two years.

The goal here is to get the Tea Party voters into his camp. He is a GobGop. But it's obvious that he will score lots of points by doing this.

In 2012, the Republicans will take over the Senate and elect a President. It will repeal Obamacare. Then the Republican GobGops will introduce another huge bill that they promise will cut medical costs.

They will not cut spending. They will not raise taxes. They will preside over a gigantic deficit.

The pork will continue to flow.

The Tea Party people will sense betrayal. Then we will see how committed they are to getting the spending under control . . . in 2015. Too late, I think.

The sell-out is coming. It will be business as usual. The GobGops now control the House. They can posture all they want, knowing the Senate will block their token spending cuts. The GobGops will scream: "If we only controlled the Senate! If we only controlled the White House! Then we could get spending under control!" You know: the way they did under Bush.

It will make great political theater. Punch and Judy will perform a real donnybrook. A good time will be had by all.

The Bigs will get bigger. They always do.

Forward this to friends. Post it on Twitter and Facebook. The troops need to be warned what's coming.

Excellent metaphor! The Republicans and Democrats play good cop bad cop, but both parties have the same goals imo.

The author is a “stir-the-pot”, “end of the world” loon and should be ignored.

We will watch EVERYBODY in office, whether they be Republican, Democrat, Tea Party, or Socialist!

This is all pure conjecture and I don’t see it as productive in any way at this point. These guys haven’t even held one legislative session yet and there are already accusations they are selling us out? Chill. The next 2 years will be telling, right now this is just noise.

I would doubt this, but for the reputation of the author.

“The NWO is DEAD”

Nope. The NWO really got going under FDR, who introduced the USA and Socialism to each other. Since then NWO has taken hits and each time uses those setbacks to advance it’s agenda.

It’s not going away because it has a military date with Jesus Christ at the field of Megiddo.

The GOP will use it as a campaign issue for 2012 and get a majority in the senate and maybe the presidency. And then you will have about 4-5 RINO’s figure out some way around repealing it.
The point, surely, is that we must fight in the primaries for senate races in '12 just like we did this year. There will be more Democrat incumbents to attack in '12, and probably a RINO or two to boot.
With that many targets, we have a lively hope of getting, not just a Republican majority but an actual conservative majority in the Senate.
Always assuming that the new Congress will keep the initiative by investigating the malfeasances and abuses of this administration.

BTW, has anyone checked to see how many FBI files on GWB white house employees have been accessed by Obama?

This would be a fairly accurate assessment if there were no Conservative ascendency. If there were no Sarah Palin pushing the right flank.

I therefore do not buy the threat.

I would like to see what kind of brain cramps this astute thinker was having two and a half years ago. If he couldn’t predict an electoral upset as huge as the one we just witnessed why should I give two whoops in hell what he imagines about events more than two years in the future?

I'm not sure whether this guy actually believes this is what will happen, or whether he is attempting to divide conservatives.

It's pretty sad that you aren't able to tell. Look into the author's background. His loony Y2K Armageddon predictions haven't changed in ten years.

Gary North is attempting to divide conservatives and from the looks of the posts on this thread, he is successfully doing so. What did John Boehner say this week about Obamacare? He vowed to REPEAL it. He VOWED to repeal it. He said, We’ll make sure ObamaCare “never, ever, ever is implemented”.

Some people here seem to want an entire field of wheat to become loaves of bread, instantly, right before their eyes, and unless that happens, they'll piss on the field so it can't even be threshed much less kneaded into dough.

What will be the thing to watch is how many of the newly elected succumb to politics as usual.

While campaigning all of them sound like perfection because they want to win.

Politicians more often than not dissappoint us at sometime down the road.

Which “this guy” is your reference to?

I don’t buy this conveluted plan, more like something from lameass movies these days.

Until I see something in Boehner that shows he’s not trustworthy, I won’t be looking a gift horse in the mouth.

IMO Do not trust the Country Club Republicans and do not trust Rep. Beohner. It wasn't very long ago (perhaps 2 months or less) he was saying we may just want to keep Obamacare and just choose to 'tweak' it some here and there. All of a sudden now that he wants to be Speaker he is speaking like he has suddenly grown a pair and says he is going to stop it dead in its tracks! I for one do not trust the guy very much at all.

How i wish we could get Michelle Bachman as Speaker! If there was a way to do it, I sure would be in there fighting for it to happen!

Sad to say, it looks like Boehner is the anointed one for Speaker!

Is this guy a “double agent” attempting to help the opposition in 2012 by dividing us now, before 2012 and its aftermath is even played out?

Let’s ask him where he bought his crystal ball!

He will play to the Tea Party. He will gain their trust.

Anyone touting "Repeal and Replace" will not gain my trust.

Just repeal the dang thing.

” The dems are afraid that they will get some of their own medicine and they fear the conservative agenda. Republicans were LOCKED OUT of the legislative conference on death care. Pelosi even changed the locks on the congressional conference room doors to keep Republicans out, and now the Dems plead for bi partisanship?

Buahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

We need to exercise some authority and unity to get the conservative agenda done.Boener and Chantor will not do that IMHO.

ITS TIME!!!

WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!!!”

Put Issa or Ryan in, and don’t forget super RINO Mitch McConnell....Trent Lott’s butt buddy. If he doesn’t go, nothing will change.
